Preseason: Timberwolves @ Suns 10-8-19

Suns look like they're playing at half speed and don't care that much. Could just be something they started doing, I've only been watching for a few minutes but they have Ayton, Frank, Cam, Booker, and Rubio on the court.

It seemed the Suns slowed down when Kaminsky came into the game.

Ayton, Booker, and Rubio look very good together.

The 2nd unit not so much.

Cam has the size to play PF. We'll see if he's used there this year. I think we will. Kaminsky shouldn't be playing with Ayton much. Cam backing up Saric after Oubre and Mikal get healthy could be the way to go.

16/10 in the first half for Ayton great! Not letting Vonleh back him down was good also as well as seeing him really fight down low for position a couple minutes earlier on D.

I think offensively this team could be really good, but I fear they are going leak like a sieve on D. But Rome wasn't built in a day so if they get half of the game going on one end, that's probably good enough to make us much more competitive.

What a difference a real PG makes. The game is so much more enjoyable to watch. I can only imagine how much easier it is for everyone out there.

Couple thoughts after the first half.

Does Dario always look like a spaz?

Ty Jerome really lacks athleticism - like really lacks it.

Cam looks like a vet already. Maybe not a real good vet yet, but he looks like he belongs.

Ayton looks fantastic. Just needs to get used to Rubio's passing.

This team desperately needs a couple Rajas. I think they have one up and coming in Bridges, but man it would be nice to have another at the 4 position who can take a little heat off Ayton.

Cam's shooting stroke is a thing of beauty. And wait until we get Oubre and Bridges back at small forward. The Suns will be deep there.
