Chris Mortenson just reported on Monday Night Countdown that Q has went to management again asking to be traded. I'm assuming this happened in the last week or few days. Management said NO!! This is going to get ugly before too long, if this report is true. Maybe it's time to do it!!! I luv #81 for everything he does for the team and on the field, but he is nuts if he thinks he deserves to be taken care of before Dansby.

Yea, because the "1st time" he requested to be traded rumor turned out to be the real deal huh!

Until I see this from Boldin or the Cardinals I don't buy it.

This is the last year of Q. I'm sure next season we will trade him.

Where have you been? Boldin went on KTAR and told them he wanted to be traded and his reasons. The reality is there. I heard the interview, he is not happy.

Over on AZREDREPORT.com there is an article that was posted yesterday discussing a possible tradethat would send Boldin to the Chargers for Vincent Jackson and a third rounder. The San Diego fans have started a thread on their board discussing it.

Man, I was drooling at the play of Vincent Jackson in last year's playoffs. He's like David Boston...only with a good head on his shoulders...and far more competitive.

I'd have to think twice and three times about Jackson and #3 for Boldin.

What's Jackson's contract situation? Anyone know?

No way, Mitch. What are you thinking? Jackson can't run routes or hang on to the ball. Horrible trade for us.

I'll trade Q to the Cowboys (so that he go to a first rate organization and win a title) for Mike Jenkins AND Felix Jones. Nothing less. I'd even throw in a 3rd round pick to the cowboys.

Man, red desert, I saw Jackson make play after play in one playoff game last year. He was practically unstoppable. That's one game, grant you. But, that game made quite an impression on me.

BTW...I said I'd have to think three times about Jackson and a #3 for Q. I didn't commit one way or the other.

Per rotoworld.com

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Anquan Boldin has again made it clear to the Cardinals that he wants to be traded.

Boldin, due $2.5 million this year, wants Larry Fitzgerald money. He says Ken Whisenhunt lied to him, "If you ask me, coaches should be coaches, management should be management, and I don't think those lines should be crossed." Boldin told NFL.com. Mort says Philadelphia and Dallas would get involved if the Cards made Boldin available, but that's not going to open. In the end, Boldin should still produce.

NFL.com article http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story?id=09000d5d80a1a2bb&template=with-video&confirm=true

I really wish it wasn't like this, Boldin is my favorite player. If we do trade him I think that since he's a 2 time Pro Bowler we should either get another PB in return or someone on his way to one.

Well, that sucks. I thought Boldin would be more professional about things after his last outburst. Saying the things he is saying does not help him in getting either a trade or a new contract.

That article tells me he will be gone after this season at the latest. I really doubt Quan will give his all this season. How can you not be on speaking terms with your coach and be productive. If he gets knicked with the smallest injury, look for him to sit.

I thought the rumor was that the Cards were gonna trade him at the end of the season. Boldin must have caught word of that and wanted the process expedited. Nevertheless, I dont think the Cards do anything unless a phenomenal offer comes to the table

Jackson has always shown upside, and never been able to consistantly deliver. I would NEVER give up Boldin for him and a third.

Would you trade Q to SF for BJ and a third?? This is the same, except that BJ may be better than Jackson. We dont need another #2 and a possible Buster Davis.

I am going to do a lengthy write up on Q and his situation tomorrow, I just dont have the energy tonight.

Trade the guy already.

Teams like the Cardinals are not strong enough to endure this kind of crap, just make the best most creative deal you can, leverage him while he's worth something and trade him.

I'm sick and tired of trying to milk a contract is a contract out of players, in today's NFL that does not work, they have to have their mind right to play, players of his caliber can dog it in an amazing amount of destructive ways that aren't really that perceptible and he will, conciously or not.

We were never going to be able to hold two WR's the caliber of Boldin and Fitz on one team without short changing the rest of the team, the fact is they are too similar to get the maximum benefit you'd have to have to pay both what they're going to want. They chose Fitz, it's done, trade the other guy when he has maximum value.

Trade him and end this stupidity.

I saw that game, and every San Diego game last season. Reason being that I had Gates and LT on my fantasty football team :D)

Anyway, Jackson really is not consistent, IMO.

What a ******* baby. Sorry, Q, injury prone #2 receivers don't get Fitz money. You said you'd play out the contract, so no trade. Tough *****.

LOL @ the Vincent Jackson/David Boston comparison.

Yeah! given that the whole issue is about $$$, that will certainly help his value to either the Cards or other teams. And, by the way... how about an actual quote of Q requesting a trade.

The quotes about Whiz have sealed his fate. He'll be gone by the end of the week. Anquan being Anquan.
