It was on local TV here in Indy so I got to watch most of it live and DVR'd the rest - I saw hardly any Niners jerseys on TV. Was their 'takeover' a flop?

There was a decent amount of niners fans, however as with most opponents each Cards fan is 2-2.5x as loud as the opposition's fans. So the niners fans effect on the game was minimal.

Yup! I was there and was pleasantly surprised by the low 9er turnout! We ruled!

There were a lot of them in my section (114) but overall I thought it wasn't THAT strong of a showing. We had one jackwagon in the row behind us who was a complete db, he was yelling his lungs out all game when it was going well early for the Niners, then in the 2nd half when the stupid penalties started piling up, he was bitching about the officiating. After one particularly stupid whine, I looked back at him with a "really?" glance, and he about came unglued, and talked ish to me the rest of the game, sounding pretty much like he was looking for a fight.

Well, jackass, look who had the last laugh. He was as silent as Teller at a Penn & Teller show during the 4th quarter. I hope he enjoys his bus ride back to Alviso. If he's lucky, maybe that old dog will even have air conditioning.

Talked to a security guard at the game. Said Niners takeover was a dud.

I have to agree. didn't seem like much of a takeover. I'd say maybe 30%?

Seemed like the smallest and mildest niners crowd in a while at least what I saw

Funniest thing was seeing the Niners fans that were there walking around proudly wearing the clear Cardinals'cinch-packs that were given out at the gate.

LOL

yeah that was funny.

Overall though it didn't seem like there sew any more than usual. If there were Cards fans let them know whose house it was. Probably the loudest game since the GB PO game.

Great all around.

I felt that their presence wasn't as much today compared to other years
they might have spent their pocket money in Texas

Until most Cards fans get the concept of being quiet when their team is on offense, any takeover will be a flop.

There was supposed to be a takeover? Didn't happen.

Agreed. Of course there were a bunch of Niners fans there, but they had ZERO chance of actually taking over the stadium.

What the takeover "movement" failed to account for is the fact that most niners fans couldn't afford to buy a white jersey
