They look to be about from 60+ away. He hit 3 of the 4 in less than one minute.

The blog there claimed that it was not real, but it looked pretty real to me.

Real or not, the ball looks and sounds beautiful coming off his foot. He's friggin awesome.

According to reports, he was in a contest with another kicker -- both kept setting the ball back farther and farther. Bill Lewis on the radio said his last one was 64 yards -- and he made it with a few yards to spare.

Not saying the video isn't doctored, but after reading this in another thread, it sure sounds like the video is more than plausible...

In the scrimmage last saturday, Rackers made kicks from 56, 58, 61, and 64. The one from 64 would have been good from 70+. There was no line or rush in front of him but his kicks had normal trajectory. Unbelievable

I don't know if it's doctored (one might suspect it is, particularly on the last kick when the ball goes out of frame, a la the LeBron commercial), but it's awesome nonetheless.

Him hitting the goalposts reminds me of this soccer commerical featuring Ronaldinho: (starting at about 1:30 in, Ronaldinho kicks the ball off the goalpost, then gets the rebound and does it again).
