Hard to believe this team is so bad that it's Friday night and there's no prediction thread. The worst thing that can ever happen to a sports team is that they get to the point where people simply no longer care what happens to them. The Bidwills and CKW and staff are at that point now.

So, since losing to the Rams not only will make the Cards a worse football team but also an irrelevant football team.............

Cards 31
Rams 28

no no, that is not what I come to expect...I like this one more...We are up 45 to 28 going into late of the third quarter and end up losing it on a last minute 1 yard TD run with time expiring after we get flagged for a interference bogus call on Peterson...no no, we get called for the penalty setting up one play at our goal line for the Rams, we stop it but there is a penalty on the play for Wilson jumping offsides or Campbell lined up in the neutral zone and then when our team is still upset, the Rams run a waggle to the outside and complete the pass to a TE no one is remotely covering in the corner of the endzone. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, that's the ticket!

Now you are talking.

But my biggest concern right now is that the Cards will simply fall off the map. Not bad enough to be in the Luck sweepstakes. Not good enough for anyone to care whether they win or lose and so bad no one starts any of their players in their fantasy league.

So no highlights. No analysis of the upcoming Cards game. Just nothing. Off into a black hole. Just like 2000-2003. Way to go Michael. Glad you went all in. Might as well sell your rights to UPS and go back to Sun Devil Stadium.

What's really sad is that within a couple of weeks all anyone in Phoenix will talk about in regards to sports is the Suns. And the NBA won't even have a season.

:bang:

Well wait. ASU is still doing well so there's that.

I bought a ticket on Stubhub in the endzone for below face value.
It's starting.

I think we win this one. We always seem to have the Rams number and Skelton will win just to to give everyone something to think about including Whiz on who the QB should be.

yes, we also need a QB controversy in the mix with the sad reality that there is a chance we do not have our QB yet even with a win lol

I predict an ugly game. Bad offense, penalties, turnovers.

The cardinals have been pretty decent on special teams (kickoff coverge, kick returns, etc) though. We probably have an edge vs. the lambs in this phase of the game.

Since the cards are at home, I'll give them the nod. Probably something like 17-14.

Get ready for the "we can win seven of our last eight" threads...

Well looks like a game of second stringers this year with Kolb and Bradford being out. I really don't know what to expect from the Rams this game. I never expected the Rams to play the way they did against the Saints. But it was fun coming out of the Dome with a smile on my face.

Jackson should be able to get some good yardage as long as he doesn't try to do too much finesse and just runs straight ahead. I really get frustrated when he tries to run like a Faulk and just doesn't bull rush his way straight ahead.

Quinn and Long should be able to put some pressure on Skeleton and that should allow the Rams defense to make some plays. If not then I worry that Fitzgerald will kill the Rams secondary. He is my biggest concern.

Well I was hoping that this game would have been between teams with better records but that will have to wait for another year.

Take Care and I'll be back win or lose.

See ya at the Dome in a couple of weeks.

Yup. My sister's friends are coming to the game cause they've never been and they got cheap tickets.

I say Cards 27, Rams 24, or vice versa. Regardless, the Cards continue to piss me off and, this week, give me the bonus of a near heart attack. And, like a battered wife, I will continue to love them (especially hot Kerry Rhodes).

We can stop Jackson from running all over us, if Bradford is not playing, it will be along afternoon for them. Cards 27-14.
