Yeah the Jury has been in on the Rams for a while. They are a flat out solid team. Scary actually. Gurley is averaging over 140 yards a start, their defense is insanely tough and they have a game manager QB. That's how you can win Superbowls. The key to the Rams is to get ahead and force Foles to throw.

Yep. Gurley is a beast. Since he did not play football for a year will he tire out later in the season especially if they give him 25-30 carries a game.

Gurley gives them the opportunity to mask their QB issues. Their defense is going to keep them in every game.

I'm hoping Atlanta tanks for the second half of the season. If not, I'm not sure a WC team comes from our division.

Go Cards!!!

I'm seeing 9 wins for rams.

10 (maybe 11 if they sweep us) wins for Seattle.

With our tough schedule we can't have any let downs.

This season reminds me of two years ago with is playing the role of Seahawks, Seahawks as the Niners, and rams as cards.

Tank after going 5-0 and are 6-2 right now? That doesn't make sense.

assuming we can beat Seattle once, I see them having two more losses. Their schedule is pretty cake, which will put them at 10-6. I see 3 more losses for the Rams as well. That puts them at 10-6.

So, we need to go 5-3 to win the division, but I think it'll take 6-2 at least to get the number 2 seed.

Thank you for understanding the exercise lol.

I agree with those specs...

People are building up this Seattle game as do or die, win or go home, I'm just trying to get a realistic view of how this might play out.
I have a feeling that for yet another season our fate will come down to if we can beat Seattle at home at the end of the year

The Rams remind me of the hype the Dolphins were receiving after beating 2 bad teams. We see what happened to them when they played a real team in NE.

so, are you saying that the Cardinals aren't a real team? Because in case your forgot, the Rams came into our house and beat us, leading the game end to end.

Look at Carolina's remaining schedule.

If they beat GB, there really is a possibility they go undefeated. I think the whole NFC is playing for the 2nd seed down. Now if GB beats them, that changes everything.

Vs. Packers

@ Titans
Vs. Redskins
@ Dallas
@ Saints
Vs. Falcons
@ Giants
@ Falcons
Vs. Bucs

@ Saints, @ Giants, @ Falcons aren't super gimmes. I could see them losing 2 games there. But even if they lost two games there AND lost to the Pack, they're still probably looking at 13-3 with that schedule.

reality is there seems to be a larger then normal gap this year between the good teams and the painfully mediocre/bad teams. 9th best record in the league right now is 4-3, right?

But we play murderer's freaking row down the stretch. Every team, save the Niners is in the playoff hunt, at or above .500.

I agree The panthers have had alot of close calls this year including some over really bad teams. They will obviously lose this year and probably 3-4 times.

I think the COULD lose any number of 6 of those games (packers, @dallas if romo back, @saints, both falcons games, and @giants). Not saying they will, or even likely to do so. But some of those teams are better than they've shown plus not certain Carolina is as good as first half suggests, plus any given Sunday. I could see them going 5-4. So best case (for us) scenario likely 12-4. We will have to play nails against a tough schedule to get to 12-4. I think 11-5 is more realistic.

I believe the Cards will end up with an 11-5 record with their second half schedule which will be enough to take the division. Looking at their schedules I can see Seattle going 10-6 and St.Louis going 9-7. With the hole Seattle dug themselves into early they haven't given them selves any room for error down the stretch. Atlanta, Minnesota and New Orleans are all going to be pushing for the playoffs too.

And we beat NO and play Minnesota at home so I think we'll be good at 11-5 (12-4 would be awesome). We can get the two seed if the Pack lose to Carolina, someone and then we beat them, but there is a long way to go?
