Mahomes, Lamar & Dak…

Allen (based on last year but I think KM passes him)

Wilson/Rodgers/Brady (not for long)

So I’d put him 7-8th and probably top-5 by the end of the year.

This is a tough question.

Mahomes
Allen
Rodgers
Brady
Murray
Wilson
Dak
Stafford

These are probably the top QBs in no real order. Murray is anywhere from 4th to 6th.

The only two I would trade Murray for is Mahomes or Allen.

Might trade him for Mahomes, but that's it. But Murry is a better scrambler than Pat M. Doesn't take hits when he runs either.

Do you know how it just rips the heart out of our opponents when he runs for 17 on 3rd-and-16? And they don't even get a good shot on him for their troubles? God help the NFL if we ever build a great o-line in front of K1.

I was sitting in the stadium amongst all these Rams fans, and I can say, without a doubt, that was the play that ripped out their hearts.

After that play they knew the Cardinals were for real.

It's tough to rank them. Throw them in as well, and any given Sunday, any of those guys are pretty damn good.

My only proclamation is that Mahomes is the best and after that, the rest are really in no particular order.

It's absolutely impossible to rank him over Mahomes at this point. Mahomes is all that AND has won the big one. Otherwise, I don't think there's a single QB I'd trade him for.

I put him past Lamar, Wilson, and Dak. Though all four of them are close.

If Lamar had the caliber of weapons those others guys did he’d be #2 behind Mahomes.
Lamar has had only two 300 yard passing games in his career. Exactly why they can’t win once they’re down 2 scores in a playoff game. Lamar had more weapons than Murray had in year 1. And Murray had only 1 true weapon last year.

As far as this poll is concerned:

1. Mahomes
2. Murray

And that is subject to a reversal at any time. I wouldn’t trade Murray for any QB in the NFL, including Mahomes. Mahomes was drafted by a playoff team & has had weapons galore from day 1. Murray is just now starting to accumulate weapons. After the top 2, you can place them in whatever order you like. They’re all similar in style & talent.

They were literally down two scores in his only playoff win. And his weapons are mediocre at best (good OL though).

Totally agree.

Murray is actually more talented than Mahomes, he just isn't as good of a decision maker yet. I think he will get there.

Only thing that keeps Murray from being almost a perfect QB is his lack of height.

Good OL is probably even better than having weapons. That means he can wait until receivers get open.

I don't agree. We are ranking on current ability, not lifetime accomplishments.

At 44 he is not the best QB in the league anymore.

Ah, and who say is not best anymore?
He just won his 7 superbowl bringing a franchise with several years of failures
Talent(is not enough) + football IQ+winning attitude
In the last 2 aspects nobody is closer to the real legend
Those aspects combined make the real ranking
Talking about talent, Murray is the best imo

Brady has this way that even when he isn't having the best season, he can turn it on when it really matters.

He doesn't look as good this year though.
