Which QB would i rather have and which is the best are two different questions. All of these QBs have value based on potential except for Alex Smith. I think Alex Smith is probably the best of the four at this second but hes the last one id want on my team because his ceiling has basically been tapped.

I would have once said this same thing, but something about alex looks different since harbaugh has arrived. I thought last year he really showed out in the playoffs against the saints, but did look a little lost against NYG defense who were much better than NO.

to his credit he has never stopped competing. he played very well today at GB and has some weapons now. that defense for the 49ers is something else right now. In this division I would say it is Alex Smith at the top currently and all the others are looking up to him in no particular order.
