You know what, Emmitt may not be a very good starting RB any more, but he just showed what he has left...his smarts. Ran for the first down, but instead of going out of bounds, he cut back inside. Good job!

Of course, on the next play, with clear running lanes, he lacked the burst to do anything but run into the line. Oh well.

Nope, it's not, but are you suggesting McCown isn't playing like total poo? Come on! He's been playing bad ever since the first quarter. Early in the 3rd, we had a running game. What did McCown do then? Suck. When a defense knows the pass threat isn't there, they key on the run. Simple.

Well, it's clear our defense has been WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than McCown's been. It made them burn another TO too. I'm not completely enamored with the play call either, but I'd have definitely been holding my breath if we were passing.
