Nope, it's not, but are you suggesting McCown isn't playing like total poo? Come on! He's been playing bad ever since the first quarter. Early in the 3rd, we had a running game. What did McCown do then? Suck. When a defense knows the pass threat isn't there, they key on the run. Simple.

But, back to my original point. Are you saying McCown is playing well?

But it HASN'T been a total offensive collapse. Are you denying we had a running game early in the 3rd quarter? Yet when we had to throw to get a first down, we couldn't...and still can't. McCown has looked like an amateur out there. If the run gets shut down, he HAS to make the pass effective...THAT'S A QUARTERBACK'S JOB!!!

I do deny it. Outside of one long draw play by Emmitt the RB game had been non-existent this entire half. until that last run by Emmitt.

I agree he hasent looked good in the 2nd half.

Yep. And based on the first 2 plays after the pick we are putting it into the hands of the defense to close this game out.

You know what, Emmitt may not be a very good starting RB any more, but he just showed what he has left...his smarts. Ran for the first down, but instead of going out of bounds, he cut back inside. Good job!

Of course, on the next play, with clear running lanes, he lacked the burst to do anything but run into the line. Oh well.

Dont have one. He broke out when we needed him to and I am happy for it. You can play word games all you want. But teh simple fact is that in between the draw in the 3rd and until the last 3 minutes of the half the running game was non-existent!
