I am going to avoid ESPN and the internet for the rest of the day and hopefully when I wake up tomorrow morning, I will see that

1)We drafted a good player

2)Amare is not traded and if he is, for something valuable that can really help the team in the future and not for a center with a horrible contract

No chance

Lol at the people throwing ihateginobilli under the bus as if he was toying with the fans.

The guy posted reports that he "hears". Kerr had probably 10 different options with Stoudemire all depending on the last minute calls. Obviously, when he said Stoudemire wasnt going, it meant Kerr wasnt happy with the offers... then obviously this morning or during the day, the same callers called back with better offers.

But the guy was helpful in giving feedbacks on how the management of the Suns felt they were leaning towards.

I appreciate the news and other rumours as it kept the day interesting... some guys here and at RealGM need to take a chill pill and give the guy a break... geez.

If you switched #7 and Wright for Randolph it would be good. I think if the Suns trade their best player they should be able to get GS's best prospect.

Too bad Randolph didn't slide one more spot last year.

BTW, ESPN mentioned that the pick being included was not sure yet. Not sure if that means we wait to see who's there or if GS is bargaining.

Eh, I can deal with Bellini, Wright, Biedrins, and the 7 as long as we retain the 14. Add whoever we get for Nash and that's a good start.

Isn't Biedrins still a BYC until the 1st? If so the trade ESPN said (Wright, Belinelli, Biedrins and #7) doesn't work until then. GS would have to pick for the Suns at the #7 and complete the trade later.

If Nash really did request Shaq to be gone, what makes you think he's going to be traded at all?

Im ok w/ this trade if the Suns get the 7 and don't botch the pick, but if its just Biedrins, Bellinenlli and Wright, Ill be super pissed. Also the Suns will have to retain 14.

Nash isn't going to play with a bunch of children at this stage of his career. If this trade happens he'll tell the Suns to trade him before he leaves in FA next summer.

LOL if the Suns front office listened to him to trade Shaq, don't you think they would have gotten his OK to do the Amare deal as well?

I can't say for sure, but I seem to recall IHG's claim to insider status was that Amare lived in his building. He was (I think it's the same guy) going on and on last trade deadline about how nobody would listen to him. So as far as I know, the guys only correct claim was that Amare wouldn't be dealt. I'm not sure how 4 months later he's been crowned as an insider?

My worry is every team in the league will know the Suns have to ship out Nash and Kerr is going to get bent over in any deal involving Nash. I expect the Knicks, Raptors or Blazers to take the Suns to the cleaner in a Nash deal.

The FO have to man up. As Tobiazz said it, we give up our best player then we get their best talent. At this point I'd much rather have Randolph than Jordan Hill or Curry Jr at #7...

I could live with #7, Biedrins, Randolph and Wright if we trade JRich and Nash for young pieces also and get our pick back.

#7 DeRozan #14 Jennings I can live with that. Grab 2 picks later to get Blair and Buddinger.

Disagree. I'm down with the GS package, and trading Lopez to get our pick back next year. Then keep Nash/Hill and JRich if he can't be moved, and run n gun like crazy next year. If they trade Wallace (cap space this year) for an mid-tier offensive frontline player, and draft Jordan Hill with #7 and a PG with #14, they have a nice playoff team next year with tons of youth and pieces for the future.

Not a contender, but it's going to be an LA and Cleveland finals next year anyway.

Then decide the next 5 year direction with Nash in 2010.

You have to remember that Nash right now and any team of athletic young runners, dunkers and shooters will be an offensive force and a .500 team.

The key is if some of the young bigs can move their feet and play some darn defense (which sadly Amare does or will not). Then they are a lower seed playoff team in the WC.
