Man if ASU could land local guys Tucker & Bailey that would be huge. I wonder if Natrell Curtis is looking to staying home now that Sark is out at UW or if he is firm after the hiring of Chris Peterson? Better question is would ASU be interested in flipping him?

Wow! Just reported that Graham and the Devils have landed Quinn Bailey!!!

This is like 4-5 very solid recruits in a row for ASU. It begs the question, haven't these guys heard of the great program that Rich Rod is running down in Tucson? :sarcasm:

Graham & Co are on fire right now.

Come on down Casey Tucker and Natrell Curtis, you're the next contestants on "Lets rebuild the Homeboys"

LT C. Westerman
LG N. Curtis
C. V Teofilo
RG Q. Bailey
RT C Tucker

* I know this has almost 0 chance of happening, but it'd be cool!

E: Im seeing some Twitter chatter right now that Renell Wren, 3 Star DE from StL might have just committed too...?

If true, thats terrific. Though I hope there's still room for Tucker. Though Im sure if Tucker wants to come to ASU the coaches make room one way or another.

Very excited for this class and it keeps getting better. Still have offers out to Casey Tucker, Kammy Delp, Renell Wren, Eric Lauderdale, and a couple of others.

We know that Michael Eubank, Junior Onyeali, Terrell Davis & Kisima Jagne are transferring from ASU. I think that means that we can take 29-30 this year, but I am not sure. DJ Calhoun comes to ASU in January so he will not count towards next year's recruits (much like Westerman did this year).

Just saw the same thing. This is getting ridiculous. I hear Scout now has ASU ranked with the #10 recruiting class.

Where have you seen him listed as a 4*? I see him listed as 3* everywhere, even his own Twitter name is 3StarDe.

Either way, he does sound like a "high" 3 star to me from what I've read, so thats good.

I have no clue how many schollie's ASU has left, all of that math gets very hazy. Lets hope Tucker and a few others can still get on board the boom bus.

Natrell Curtis does not have a scholarship offer from ASU. I'd be surprised if he has a scholie from anywhere in the Pac-12. Don't know his situation, but I think it's safe to say he's uninvited most everywhere.

I always saw him listed as a 3 as well, however,, the tweet I hit from The Bleacher Report listed him as a 4....

To be fair, that picture was taken in a College Prep class for College Athletes. He got an A+ on that assignment.

Yeah, in the big money sports the term "Student Athlete" is definitely an oxymoron.

Sometimes you can't get too caught up in a players rating. Laurence Jones immediately became less talented when he decommitted from Alabama.

Looks like ASU just got another commitment from another local star, Santana Sterling LB from Hamilton, welcome aboard!!

Man, we have established a very solid relationship with the Hamilton football program. That bodes well for the future. Keep sending 'em our way!

Big recruiting weekend for ASU with about 16 recruits visiting.
http://www.houseofsparky.com/2014/1/16/5315572/asu-football-recruiting-official-visits-manny-wilkins

Things seem to be going well as 4 star juco wide receiver Eric Lauderdale whose next visit was going to be Oregon has now announced he is dropping the Oregon visit.

Even though he is an extremely solid commit, QB Manny Wilkins is in town to meet the other recruits and to try to get them on board as well. This guy is a big time leader.

3 * OG Kammy Delp de-committed but is apparently "still considering" ASU. I feel like almost always though when a kid de-commits, thats it.

On the bright star, local 3 * Linebacker Ismael Murphy Richardson committed. He also apparently had offers from UofA, Florida, Nebraska, UCLA, USC and lots of other top quality schools.

Really hate losing Delp. ASU needs a lot more beef on the O-line, and they're struggling to fill those holes. Casey Tucker would help, but that seems like the long shot of all long shots.

As of this moment ASUs class is #1 in the P-12 and #11 Nationally. Though thats highly likely to drop a bit.

I don't think ASU really wanted Delp. He wants to be a DT and originally went with ASU because ASU was the only school willing to let him start out there. I think ASU changed their minds on that and it's why Delp bailed. It was tepid relationship from the start. ASU has better OGs on there card already, and would MUCH prefer Alex Anderson at that spot.

IMR is potentially the best player of this class. He's never been on a legitimate weight training program, and he's had to work his butt off to get his academics in order. He's been shielded by his school from the media so he could concentrate on it. He has a Terrell Suggs type ceiling. He may never reach it, but that's where the top end of his ability is. He was my favorite in-state player in this class.

Got any feel for how crappin the bed against TT may have affected recruiting?

Had pretty much zero effect. Winning/losing bowl games doesn't matter. Being in them does.

Winning gets you in the door of better recruits. Relationship gets the commitment. Losing a bowl game wasn't going to impact the latter.
