Really? Who is your transfer receiver from Texas or your safety that was kicked off of your team only to be given a third chance to stay on your team? Go back to your board. It's not our fault your coach uses all of his scholies at the beginning of recruiting season...

Jones and Bondo have nothing to do with this.

If you want me off your board, keep posting ignorant retorts. I Thought I'd give you all the information I know about one of your recruits, but pliable asu fans such as yourself are too narrow minded to consider that some recruits come with risks.

I don't really care if you are on this board or not bro. I just find it amusing that your coach gives away scholies early in the process rather than being judicial with them...

RE: Norman's "character"; if Dennis Erickson were still the coach, I'd be concerned. However, under Graham ASU hasn't really had any major discipline issues. The kids he has brought in have by in large worked out from an off the field point of view. The very few who haven't, i.e. Mike Pennell, were dealt with in a reasonable time frame and left the team.

So if Graham and his staff think a kid is OK to take a chance on, I'll trust them.

If you want your program full of choir boys, go cheer for your local Pop Warner church team. But even then know that some of those kids will likely grow up to be *******s. Part of success for any venture whether its sports or business or arts means having to inevitably work with less than desirable characters here and there. Nobody is immune from that reality.

That being said, the football recruiting industry is one of the biggest sham money grab in sports. Its nerds who never played past JV football making judgments about kids playing pickup games in shorts and 40 times. Go back and look at ASU and Arizona's 4-5* recruits over the past several years. For the most part its not a very distinguished list.

Well ASU lost out on one of their targets. Trent Irwin decided to go to Stanford instead of playing with his HS teammate Brady White.

No worries, we have WR's up the ying yang. That will keep a spot open for a position of need.

To be honest I know ASU is supposedly in on 5 big defensive guys (Gustin, Masina, Houston, Green & Peat) but they could really use a couple more CB's. They got Norman but I am hoping they can lure in Holiday and Orr to add some depth.

Can't ever be mad at a kid for choosing Stanford over any school. It's the best school in the country. Beautiful campus, great academics, solid in most sports, pretty great weather, etc. I wish him well, and hope we can get at least one of the other big time WR's out there.

3 * Cornerback Kareem Orr chose ASU over Ohio St today. "Only" a 3 star, but had major big time programs after him, should be a good addition to ASU's secondary.

I just saw this on AZ Central. Awesome get as this kid is underrated IMO. ASU has a few schollies left, hopefully they can flip Peat, and sign Hawkins and maybe steal Gustin from USC & OSU.

Last week ASU flipped a 3-star DT who committed to WSU so they did land another DL. Wednesday can't get here soon enough.

Edit: Looks like ASU got another 4-star DB this evening with S Jay Jay Wilson committing.

nice pickup.

I imagine ASU also gets Cassius Peat and Snoops son Cordell Bradaus, so that leaves 2 more slots after that.
I've read speculation that Broadus might end up at UCLA. I've also read that he and his 7 on 7 squad got into a brawl at a summer camp with another squad led by Scrappy Norman so there may be some bad blood between the two. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Also, word is Gustin will announce his decision Tuesday.

Yah one would think Broadus would go to UCLA or USC, Snoop was a big USC guy in the Carroll era. But I've also heard that he may want out of the LA shadow of his Dad.

We'll all find out soon enough I suppose!

Some garbage going on here, Broadus hung out with J Strong and Scrappy all Super Bowl weekend. We might lose him to UCLA, but at least get the facts straight...

I'm hearing msu for peat, since neither ASU or UCLA really wants him.

Whoa! Not sure if this comment is directed to me but I just posted I read that there was a brawl/fight/scuffle or whatever you want to call it and Broadus and Norman were involved. Maybe they let bygones be bygones. I would love for ASU to land Broadus. We'll know by the end of the day.

Jason Lewis officially signed. 6-3 240 RB. Man, we are getting loaded up in the backfield with some real power, assuming that's where they keep him.

Any word on wide receivers. This would appear to be a need.

I'm hoping they add a power running game to complement Bercs passing.
If they try to stick with the read option its gonna be a long year. Berc running that stuff is classic square peg round hole.
