assume potential... and speed

nfl.com had him ranked in top 100 free agents which would translate to about the same ranking

Brian De La Puente would make a nice insurance policy on the interior o-line at veteran minimum.

Moreno was on his way to a big year, before getting hurt. I wouldn't want to have to depend on him as an every down back though.

Patrick Robinson isn't available, signed a 1 yr deal with SD.

ARZ is done with FA, draft is all that's left.

I highly doubt we are done with FA.We are done with the first wave of FA. After the draft that list of veteran FA's will get much less expensive and we will get some quality guys in here. I'm not sure if you missed the last two offseasons but some of our best players came after the draft. We will go through the draft and then shore up some depth with one year deals and there are a lot of players on that list worth bringing in.

I'm surprised with some of the quality on that list. There's 5-6 guys on there I would consider upgrades/decent pieces on those 1 or 2 year deals we've been throwing out there in the past few years.

I would be interested in (if the price was right):

C
Stefan Wisnewski

OLB
Dwight Freeney. Maybe Acho for near the minimum

DT
BJ Raji/ Red Bryant/ Tommy Kelly -- Seems odd we chose Corey Peters over these guys unless their contract demands are ridiculous

ILB
Brandon Spikes, Rolando McClain. I think both are a big upgrade from Minter.

Edit nevermind I thought Pierre Thomas was younger. That's why he's still available.

A 1-year deal for Wisniewski coming off injury would be nice.

Peters is younger and better than any of those guys. Kelly really wore down as last year went on and Raji has been ineffective and injured the last couple of years. Bryant was mostly a nonfactor in jacksonville (though its hard to be anything but that on such a horrible team).

Would like to see them add another ILB though and of course Wisnewski would be a fantastic signing so late in free agency. He had shoulder surgery which is why he hasn't been signed so far so he might have to take a short term deal.

Add Anthony Spencer, Jermaine Gresham, Michael Crabtree and Moreno to that list. All of these guys would get one year prove it deals.
