****ing pathatic. AMare struggled shooting even though we never really looked for him. Yao is out to start the 4th and we give it to Barbosa 5 times and Amare 0 times. DOesnt make sense at all. If we were playing to out strengths and losing I would be fine. But our game plans are just flat out dumb.

Then Porter benches the team down 16 with 6 min remaining. Awesome

Amare never really got good passes to be comfortable when he ever got any. They need to do a Utah imitation and force Nash to play like Stockton, namely as the sec. banana to Malone. Otherwise, the season is ruined until we do a Nash for Billups trade.

Whoever thinks we can win a ring with this team is on some serious drugs :) I have hope for Dragic though, he looks like a good player.
And I hope you didn't take this loss THAT seriously, grab ahold of reality.

Bell 0/6
Barbosa 5/15
Barnes 5/13
Hill 0/4
Diaw 1/4

Suns really need a shooter or two on sg/sf position.

Another thing- Amundson should get more minutes. Kid plays harder than any other player on this team.

Nash would be fine if people would hit their open jumpers and layups. Replace Bell and Barnes will Mike Miller and Brent Barry and Nash would have had 15 assists.

Yah...it's all Nash's fault.
Review the game, man! Look how Nash, LB and Bell handled the ball all game long. That's demonstration game right there: Feeding the posts, playing straight defense, we are in the game; Nash dribbling and no good, comfortable touches for the bigs, we lose big time. Whoever Nash defends always blow up on us in our losses: Brook/Alton, CP3, you name it! Frustrating.

reality? the reality is the lakers are looking unstoppable. They kicked the hornets ass all night and let the lead shrink a little during garbage time. Either way, they beat the hornets pretty badly at full strength when we lost to them pretty badly when they didn't have chandler. they also smothered that same houston team who just gave us a good beat down. their bench is amazing, kobe is still kobe, and the front court (including bynum) looks very strong. I would also venture to say the Hornets, Celtics, Cavaliers, Blazers, Hawks, Rockets, Jazz, and Pistons are >= the suns right now. So i would say it is YOU who needs a reality check, not the people saying we can't win a ring with this team.

Most shots weren't that open. And then failure got on the players as witnessed by wide open 5' jumper missed by Bell. The rhythm didn't feel good. You apparently hardly could mix the feeding the post style with Nash improvisation, unless you face garbage teams.:bang:

Actually I am being realistic. The Suns have 2 good inside players and the rest a bunch of chuckers who can't do anything themselves other than catch and shoot. In the playoffs, that kind of game doesn't work. Every team has a guard who can create their own shot.

i.e Ray Allen
Tony Parker
Chauncey Billups
Kobe

We'll get wiped by the Lakers if we go in with this team.

Nash can create his own shot too. Good teams have a guy next to their primary guard who can make shots as well though. we don't have that with bell shooting like garbage.

i.e Allen
Manu
J.R Smith/Chauncey
Fisher/Vujacic/Farmar

Nash/LB for Billups/Smith anyone? Might be a win-win solution.:mulli:

Alston/Brooks, 15/24 for 34 points combined, while they otherwise shoot 29%/45% for 7.6/10.6. What else can you say about the Suns' chance of winning this game?

Yea Nash is decent on the pick n roll but he's been off lately. Our team will be so good if we had a SG. Raja Bell is a bench player now and a pretty damn good one. It's pathetic that Kerr didn't see this as a weakpoint in our offense before the season started. I saw this last year in the playoffs when Nash was off and we had no one to go to outside.

You are exactly right. Like it or not, this team's strength is in the low post with Shaq and Amare. Nash really needs to get the ball to those guys and stand at the three point line. Only exception is a fast break. Beyond that, get the ball to Shaq and Amare and stand back.

I love when Nash dribbles into the paint and goes under the hoop because he can't do anything with it and the rest of the guys are standing along the three point line going "ooh ooh pass pass." We have no movement on offense.

I am not saying that Nash didn't screw up. I really believe that every possession should be a pass to low post (Shaq or Amare) and Nash waiting at the 3 point line.

I am just saying that Bell, Barbosa, Barnes and Hill are to blame for missing shots more than Nash is to blame for anything that happened. Nash can improvise when people are hitting shots. He needs to realize that when they are not making shots, he needs to go to Shaq and Amare.

Really? Because last time I checked the championship isn't decided on the 9th game of the season...despite the way other teams look.

Just a few years back nobody expected anything out of Nash.
He gave Phoenix FOUR awesome seasons to remember a loooong time with the team falling just short of the title by injuries and bad luck.

To call for his head is just incredibly ungrateful.

For people calling Raja Bell a miserable shooter... I just don't know what to say. Even Mike Miller will have an off-night from time to time.
Last time I checked (5 minutes ago), Raja hit 51% from behind the arc to Miller's 41%.

Regarding the Suns' championship hopes, I'm certainly one who accepts reality.
But that doesn't mean I cannot enjoy this club. Lopez and Dragic seem hopeful for the future with is to come in two years and a load of money to spend.
For the time being, I enjoy what we have. Some promising youngsters, one of the best forwards in the game and three true legends of the game. Seeing Grant Hill playing is a joy and a blessing for the game of basketball.
There won't be somebody with the charisma of Shaq or the intelligence of Nash anytime soon.
Just enjoy it while you can, I say. Worry about the new championship run from 2010 on.

So everyone has given up on their hopes of winning it all?

Why even play the rest of the season then? What's the point?

Some fans on a message board have declared them losers....
