Glad to see Dumas with the team, hopefully he's doing better now. That guy had so much talent, definitely one of those "what if" sort of situations. He could have been the face of the franchise as Barkley and KJ got older.

I'm glad we got a chance to see it.

easily the best and most fun Suns team ever. From high-fliers with Dumas and sometimes a throw-back Chambers jam... to Ainge and Crazy Dan Majerle Threes... to KJ (when healthy)... to the best season any Sun has ever had where Barkley was EVERYTHING.

And then there was Paxson.

******.

I think this is the first time I have heard Charles Barkley say he roots for the Suns.

He also said the 76ers.

I must be some kind of jinx... everytime i actually get a chance to watch this team on TV, they end up getting blown out and boring me to tears.

Except Booker. Good gravy that kid is great.

True about Dumas.

And what could have been with Oliver Miller.

Bender needs to stay higher when he's switched onto Paul. I know his goal is to stay in front of him but if he had more size Paul wouldn't be able to shoot over him as easy.

Yes, it is nostalgic to see the introduction of the Suns from 25 years ago.

As Westy said, I wish Cotton were here to be part of it. My son worked at the Burger King at Cactus and 32nd Street while going to school and Cotton came through the drive through window regularly at night.

No point in Ulis being on the court if Booker is guarding Paul and running the offense.

I used to see Cotton and other Suns in this area as well. Cotton was genuinely a very nice man.

Oliver Miller and his crew used to walk through Paradise Valley Mall. 'Not too much room to walk around them.

Miller looked (and acted) like a 14 year old on steroids. :)

Paradise Valley Mall used to have a bakery in the food court that made the best chocolate eclairs... ever.

I think it was Paradise Bakery at the PV Mall food court, wasn't it? Which was bought out by Panera Bread around the Valley.

Alec Peters alert. He is in the game.

Bender is so much taller in comparison.

I mostly quit going there after the bakery closed. It was that good. I'm not sure about the name of the bakery but it was awesome.

D'Antoni's style of play runs a team into the ground. It's a relentless offense.

Too bad he runs his team into the ground also. If he played 10 guys a night they'd be legit contenders but so long as he used 7 or less players they won't get far.

Really surprised by Daniels. He seemed to be an afterthought acquisition but he's been solid all season for the Suns.

The Rockets are a more balanced team this season so we shall see.

This is true... and worse, he is stubborn as heck about it. In a couple years, Rockets fans will be just as weary of him as Suns fans were tem years ago.
