The Rockets have been on a roll and are starting to gel together as a team. I still believe we will run them out of the gym tonight. Both teams will have enough rest to really turn up the speed. We have been playing real well but took a little step back against a depleted Spurs team, but a WIN is a WIN and we need to stay ahead of the Spurs to get home court through out.

Houston is 30-15 when the hold a team under 100 points. They've held opponents under 100 the last 12 of 15 games, which goes a long way explaining why they're on a roll. The Suns need to get out of the gates fast and not let players like Juwan Howard score or get on the boards to compliment what McGrady and Ming are likely going to contribute.

Yeah, let's kill them.

Let's RUN, RUN AND RUN and the Rox will be forced to put Yao on the bench and then Amare can have his way!!! That's the game plan.

I'll be at the game tonight. Hopefully it'll be a great game, but I wouldn't mind the Suns blowing them out.

I think Amare is gonna come out very aggressive tonight. That could either put in him some early trouble, forcing shots, or he could completely demoralize Yao Ming for the next 6 months.

Amare has always done well against Yao. What Amare doesn't have in size, he makes up for with quickness and strength.

I seem to recall Yao giving us a bit of trouble because he was so slow he was like moving in a different space-time dimension. Like he wasn't playing the same game, which at times threw us off - this lumbering behemoth fuzzily appears on the floor and then flickers into the time warp again. :p

LOL. You know they are a bunch of losers when they are already saying, "This game may be decided by the refs." What the heck is that? Out of all fans, Houston fans seem the most immature to me. Anybody else find that to be the case?

i think its Sacramento closely followed by Houston.....then Boston.

Houston fans though are the most cocky out of the bunch....and they refuse to face the facts sometimes.

Well yeah, Sacramento fans are bad of course. The problem is, I used to spend so much time on the ESPN boards, and all of the Rockets fans there are about 13 years old. They're still a little upset about Amare getting ROY and the Rockets losing that last playoff spot to the Suns by 1 game (even though we tanked the last two). They are a very immature group for sure..

Anyways, don't forget to come to the chat tonight guys! And of course, try to leave your imposters behind.

It seems to me that most people on this board say exactly the same thing when it comes to Suns-Spurs games. Phrases like "if the refs permit grabbing on defense" seem to pop up in nearly every other post.

True, that may be so. Rockets fans are something else, however..

Bumped his knee in the last game and it swelled up the next day - he's held out of practice and it still isn't quite right.

gulp.

But it's looking like the team has genuine depth, and is learning to have a blast regardless who is in our lineup. LOL.

It seems the refs lost their whistles!!!

What's going on??? Yao should have been fouled out long time ago!

That is the funniest thing that I have seen in ASFN in a long time! Great description at the end.

Damn, I dosed off when the Suns were up 10 or so points in the third quarter, expecting a comfortable victory, and I awake to this nightmare? I am dreaming, right? Please tell me I'm dreaming.

Just for the record, Yao committed 147 fouls in the fourth quarter against Amare Stoudemire. But at least they all led to Houston fast breaks.

Don't blame the refs. Blame PHX, who kept taking right at Yao.

Look at the tapes. Nearly every time down the floor, someone challenged Yao.

BTW, Nash hasn't been the same since before the All-Star game. His D has been way below average. And, he's lost a step.
