I honestly think you couldn't be more out of touch with this team..

Your calves must be sexy though with all the jumping on and off bandwagons your doing

LOL! Nah, I've got runner's legs, so I've more or less ran off the Whis bandwagon and have spent the last 100m catching up to Horton's.

I've lost all confidence in Whis as he is now back to 2010 strategy of throwing crap on the wall to see what sticks because he already backed up his commode.

The dude is out of answers and has really staked his career on a horrific stead of quarterbacks. His stubbornness and inability to develop quarterbacks is never going to change, never.

I will be forever thankful for him getting the team to the Superbowl...I love Whis, but I am not in love with Whis.

Sorry coach: Its not you; its me.... actually, it is you. :)

i agree with all of this and is the biggest reason I had no problem with the benching mid game. He wasn't benched just because of that pass... he was benched because that pass was the last straw that broke the camel's back. not sure how a lot of you don't get that.

I feel the exact same way. Why would Whisenhunt want to see him screw up and throw more crappy passes. Skelton was not hitting passes all year and that opportunity with Fitz was the exclamation point after the word suck.

I'm not saying Skelton is anything great by any means but he give the Cards the best chance to win. He won, or didn't lose, the job to start the season. Now he's worse than Lindley???? He has shown the ability to bounce back after horrific 1st halves. I witnessed it pesonally in Cincy last year. He's better than Lindley but that's not saying a whole lot

Lindley, to me, looked like the love child of Max Hall and Derek Anderson. I saw nothing to remotely think he brings anything to the table.

I agree with pretty much all of this, especially that last part.

Skelton stinks but Lindley doesn't appear to be anything more than Skelton 2.0

Obvious decision.

Skelton done not only as a Cardinal but in NFL.

Lindley is similar to Skelton so don't expect anything there. Nothing he showed last Sunday impressed me.

We are stuck with Kolb whenever he returns perhaps even next season... Yuck! That is a lot of a money for a mediocre QB who plays only half a season.

Hopefully he will do better this week knowing he is going to start and getting the first team reps all week in practice

I wish they had waited to announce this till after I got off of work and put a bet on the Rams +2.5. Now the line is going to change. :(

I kinda doubt it, it seems like our QBs do better coming in off the bench. The prep or something seems to throw everything off. I wouldn't be shock if we saw the 360 degree flip flop and Skelton coming back in and winning the game after Friendley struggles hardcore. The "Skelton... winning the game" might be a stretch, but the flip flop is definitely possible...it's Whiz! :D

We need a quarterback with less 'intangibles' and simply more accuracy. That's why the Hawks are set at the position for years - R. Wilson has excellent accuracy and touch on his passes.

I don't think Lindley will be the guy either, but I sure hope I am wrong.

I have higher hopes for Kolb, who has shown some flashes. That crazy last second TD pass to Roberts in the endzone earlier this year was outstanding by Kolb.

I'm happy that we don't have to sit through another week of Skelton, but starting Lindley at all this season is nuts. I don't think anyone viewed Lindley as first year starter material coming out of the draft. This offense is a nightmare.

The way I look at it, the Cardinals need to find out if they have anything at QB going into next season. Kolb can't stay healthy and Skelton cannot hit open receivers. I'd like to see if Lindley has any promise at QB. It's not so much about winning anymore to me and more about fixing the QB situation for the future. I don't expect Lindley to win games, just run the offense and limit mistakes. Maybe he will show some ability that can be developed.

I don't think calling Skelton names is appropriate. The Cardinals coaching staff selected these QBs. They are what they are.

Amazing. Last season some here were anointing Skelton the man and now he's a bum. Same old Cards indeed.

I'm getting visions of Max Hall. Hey, maybe coach really likes Skelton and just doesn't want to subject him to any more punishment behind this offensive line, lol! Save him for next year :biglaugh:

I'll give Whiz this - even though I didn't agree with pulling Skeleton so early, he is man of his confusing word. So if he loses his job, at least he has been consistent in his tenure here - hasn't been able to find a QB, hasn't been able to modify the offensive plan to fit the crap QBs we do have.

Go Lindley!

Lindley has a arm that can make the NFL throws. Max Hall had a itty bitty highschool arm but Lindley suffers from...wait for it...had some accuracy problems when in college if you look at his percentages. Hopefully it was a byproduct of a lack of talent around him.

Lindley's best season is about 57% accuracy. When you look at the game stats, he pretty much feasted on crappy schools and got worked by the only decent schools he played.

Yes. For the most part, the Plummers and Kolbs seem to perform like the draft position they where selected. 2nd round success= good backup but a 1st round success= franchise QB. Yes, there are exceptions but for the most part you have to draft them early. Tyler Wilson and the others might only be good backups, we will see after the league gives its opinion on this crop of QBs.

I have minimal expectations for him (dont like his skill set), but glad he's getting the chance to prove himself before the offseason. From what I've heard/read, he's a good guy and harder worker.

Expect the worst, but hope for the best.

I'm pretty much in this mindset. I don't expect a ton of success for him, but do hope that he'll demonstrate improvement/growth as he goes along.

Not sure what to think. So Skelton sucks and we bench him because Lindley may suck also but we haven't seen absolute proof of this yet.

Oh this is just great. :bang:

Desperation, thy name is CKW. You smell that, Rabbit? Fear. The house of cards is tumbling down for KW as we speak. Sad, so very sad. He's done, seems to me.
