Jason lacanfora tweeted: For those who were asking about Tim Hightower before, sounds like he's 2 more weeks away from being healthy. I expect AZ to keep an eye out

Hightower apparently needs a knee scope. That's why the Redskins opted for Ryan Grant.

I like the idea of offering a conditional pick for Chris Ivory. I've always thought he's an underrated back.

Correct. Skins brought Hightower in last week, but he couldn't pass a physical and was unlikely to be available for several weeks, if at all.

Helluva year.

Go Cards!!!

I'd be on the horn with Addai's agent yesterday. Then bring in a younger back like Torain as back up. Not a complete disaster but certainly puts a damper on things. If this team didn't have bad luck, they'd have none at all.

You trade for Chris Ivory from the Saints. He is a very tough, pounding RB who is buried on their depth chart and that teams needs picks. He has experience in a passing offense, and can replace what Ryan Williams brought to the table. He is young, so if he works, you have the option of signing him to an extension. I would offer a 6th, that could be upgraded to a conditional 5th.

Other than that, I see nothing worth signing.

Man they got to do something. I don't care what whiz says. These guys are not ready to pass block let alone run in the nfl. I saw William Powell turtle plenty enough against Miami and St. Louis.

The problem with our running backs is the o line!
I was talking about their injury issues.

And, no, the problem with our RB's is not just the OL... it is also our RB's. I saw RW waltzin' behind the line several times.

I would see what Washington wants for Roy Helu. I really like him coming out of college. I don't think teams will be lining up to help out the Cards and a trade will be very difficult to complete.

If I had my choice the guy I would go after is DeAngelo Williams. Carolina has 3 starting caliber RB's, 4 if you want to count Newton, and they're not really running the ball all that well.

Or this guy:

I really think a trade is the only way to go. The list of FAs out there is a dung heap at best. Just say no to THT. New Orleans and especially Carolina have a surplus at RB. Carolina would be my first choice. The real question is would they have any interest and what would they ask for one of their backs.

Considering how we dealt with trades before I would expect to get fleeced by Carolina. The real scary part is when you hear Wiz make his infamous statement "We are comfortable with who we have" You know its a recipe for disaster. It also means they will sit on their collective thumbs and do nothing about our current RB situation. It's no real problem, Wells will be back in 6 more weeks.

I thought that was Pittman who broke his hand on the phone? Or did he cut himself or something like that.

I think Pittman is the guy who drove his car into his girlfriends car or something.

Jones is the guy who broke his hand "answer the phone"

and Calvin Pace is the guy the fell out a window.
