Manu is as dirty as Bowen, just not as sneaky about it - yet! He dove for Raja's legs in game 1 and his body lock on Amare's leg in game 2 had great potential for a knee injury - if Amare had moved you know Manu would have thrown himself into action, "trying to sell a foul on Amare". I think thats how his apologists describe his actions. Resulting injuries are, of course, accidental.

SA has not played an "A" game in the entire post-season this year.

This is the worst Spurs defensive team Pop has ever coached.

Gino has his head somewhere in Argentina.

Parker takes a game off every other game.

Very frustrating to be a Spurs fan this year.

He kicks Amare's right achilles and then manages to land his foot on his left heel (which is what the still above shows).

Thank you for saying that, that is what I see but have not seen anyone say that before.

Wow.I guess people just don't comprehend anything anymore. The pic that I got, didn't show that angle. You have a nice pic with a well drawn out polygon of red.

But whatever...Amare looks good to go, Bruce is ready to defend, and Tim Duncan is still the best player in the L on BOTH sides of the ball. I expect a Spurs victory tomorrow. :)

You said phalanges...you could've just said toes. See what happens when one tries to simplify for the people who just say foot or achilles?

You have good evening doc, nurse, lvn...Suns Fan.

Bowen is a one-trick pony. Same for Flop-nobili and even Duncan.

All good players but it sucks that they bastardize the NBA game and win the way they win. They win by cheating. Nuff said.

btw...that article from the SA newspaper was so mid-market. Yuck.

Name 1 better and I'll bet you any amount you want that that player doesn't have a streak of ALL-NBA and ALL-NBA DEFENSE next to his name for EVERY YEAR HE HAS BEEN IN THE LEAGUE. There ain't no one in the L that is in the position of Tim D. Best player at his position in history. Recognize greatness.

I bet there's one Spur who wouldn't argue with Amare.

From mysanantonio.com:

<<<Before they were teammates, Finley was a rival. On March 5, 2004, then-Mavs guard Finley was ejected after getting involved in an altercation with Bowen. "A coward guy made a coward play," Finley said. "He gave me a cheap shot from behind and I retaliated.">>>

In another thread, Eric stated that if a team needs to use comments by the other team to get fired up in the playoffs - they are in big trouble. This article gives a strong stench.

As for the Spurs fans, they are getting tiresome. Either Bowen takes actions with the apparent intention of hurting opponents or he doesn't. If he does, it doesn't matter if he's got a great reputation as a defender (not all thugs lack talent) or if the comments are made by teams that don't do as well as the Spurs. Let's fact it, that is everyone except maybe three teams.

If Amare complains after a loss, then he's a wihinner. If Amare complains after a win, then he's hurting the team by firing up his opponent. If he stays quiet like so many other opponents, then it proves he's a wus.

Thanks Spurs fans for clearing that up for us. :violin:

What a smokescreen BS article....Like Amare is supposed to regret saying the truth...We're supposed to reget it as fans...and we're all supposed to be scared of what the Spurs might do. So apparently now they're no longer adjusting to the Suns but Amares mouth instead.

If you ask me they're just ticked off the spotlight is more on their dirty tricks now. Not only that but this last game shook them up and their grasping at straws looking for ANY extra motivation.

wow, you're such an insightful poster and a REAL ASSET TO THIS BOARD. clearly, you have unbiased, well-thought out opinions, and your MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE knows no bounds.

i for one no longer think that the suns can beat GOD'S GIFT TO BASKETBALL, the spurs, due in large part to your expansive intellect and EXTRAORDINARY PERCEPTION OF THE NUANCES OF THE GAME.

thank you, mib. THANK YOU.

Some of the Spur's commentators have begun saying the Suns are whinners. This coming from a team that includes the biggest whinners in the NBA is just unbelievable.

Actually I doubt Burke is well suited to playing enforcer. He's mostly and offensive player. The guy who might kick butt is Jumaine Jones, although we haven't seen him in a lifetime.

Who gives a sh#@? They are dirty. That's gonna fire them up? Bruce Bowen should be smashed, sent down hard by Burke. They're dirty and they're
f*@#ing crybabies. I hate the Spurs more than I hate the Lakers. I hate ******* Poppazits, that stupid deer-in-the-headlights faced Tim Duncan, Manu G-NOSE-li is a disgusting little turd, Tony Parker's alright for a Spur, but Bruce Bowen is guttersnipe. He should be hurt, badly. F the Spurs!!!!

Come on, tell us how you really feel!:D
