I believe JT will be gone to DET at #2. If not there's a good chance he's gone by the time #5 rolls around. What do the Cards do if AP and Gaines Adams are there? I am fine w/ passing AP for JT but if we pass on AP for Adams I will blow a gasket.

Levi Brown.

If the Cards don't come out of the draft with either a 1st or 2nd round OT the season is over and the 2008 season is put in jepordy. And, I believe that the good OT will be taken just before the Cards pick in the 2nd round.

So it's trade down in the 1st and get Levi.

Trade up from the 2nd and grab best available OT.

or...

Take Levi Brown at #5.

Personally, I would make draft 2 OT from this draft.

Your AP initials were formed in the "L" formation.... GO LEVI!

;)

My perfect first two rounds is Thomas/Levi..... Then Blalock.

Thomas or Levi - Gandy - Johnson - Lutui - Wells & Blalock

Check your warranty and see if you are covered for that.

And that wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I almost agree with you. Certainly make certain to get Brown if Thomas is not there. I think they can gamble
and go down as far as 8 or 9 and still get him and pick up (maybe) an additional 3, certainly a four.

i think it's time people accept that if thomas is gone & we want levi we wont be trading down to get him. it's to big of a risk & there are a few teams out there that think levi is worth a #5 pick....now if there are a few players including levi we will be happy with than i can see it, but if we do it only for levi everyone here should know it will bite us in the end.

Are there any Jeremy Trueblood's in this draft. Solid LT's that can be selected in the 2nd round?

Trueblood's teammate at BC, James Marten, is a very similar player.

Trueblood is really a RT...and so is Marten.

But for us, RT is the more important position, anyway.
