The #Browns just selected #Arizona LB Scooby Wright at No. 250, much later than expected.

Probably a good spot for him. They decimated their roster and have started rebuilding with young talent and future picks. He can look down the road to Cinci to see how UDFA Burfict turned out.

There he goes. 7th round. In this NFL, it will be tough for him to stay on the field in passing situations. We will see. It isn't a medical issue, it is an athletic talent issue..

He's never gonna measure well in shorts and a t-shirt. That was a given. Talent isn't the issue. That player doesn't slide from a late-first projection to the seventh without medical issues. Only plausible explanation.

If it makes you feel better, I don't think Will Parks or Cayleb Jones will be on a 53-man roster Week 1.

I'm so blown over his fall. I still believe he will be an extremely successful player and we'll regret not taking him.

We will definitely regret it. That's about the last player in the draft, and he is straight awesome.

It's too bad he won't have a shot at being a Cardinal but Cleveland is a better situation for him. Got to love his attitude, it's too bad guys with more talent don't have his desire.

He was clear on what he wanted to accomplish this upcoming NFL season.“ I want to be the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year,” said Wright, not content with making the team as a low round draft choice. “That’s my goal.”

I knew he had an attitude issue but I'm not aware of any injury concerns unless he didn't heal from his last college injury.

This.

Kentrel Brothers fell to the 5th Rd. He might have something to prove as well.

Just shows how much the game has changed. Evaluators have cleaned the slate.

Completely agree. Seems like anyone that goes to the Browns is career suicide. Hopefully he will be a part of that team and do well. The Cards wanted him if he fell out of the draft. Would have loved having him on our D

Ray Horton is going to love him. That's the silver lining in all of this. It really bums me out how close we were to seeing him here. This is what happens when you trade away picks. We had to go for the win this year, and unfortunately that cost the opportunity to go after him or a QBOF.

Watched his entire career. He's an excellent linebacker with a great work ethic and a natural leader. Needs to get faster at the next level. Scooby will shine in the combine and during interviews with teams.
