Scratch Dessens from my projected rotation - he belongs in a long relief role, or possible emergency starter; he is too much like Anderson/Helling/Albie to leave him in the rotation.

Can someone tell me why with the current success of the Diamondbacks and there rookiew, why a team like the Cubs or Dodgers who have great pitching is not will get get rid of the over the hill guys like Troy O'leary and Lenny Harris(BA 167) and give the kids a chance wince they are suppose to have 2 of the best fram systems in all of baseball.

Dodgers USED to have a great farm system. It is mighty barren these days, has been for a few years.

Dessens has settled down the past two innings - time for another run or two from the D'Backs...

Not getting a hit hurts. Not only did we leave 3 men on base, Elmer leads off the next inning.

*d'oh*

Looks like I spoke too soon...time for Elmer to leave!! I hope Myers can stem the tide a little.

Our timely hitting sure would be....well, very timely right about now - too many runners left on base already!
