I would play Baerga more but Hammock has struggled a lot the past 3 weeks. By the way, The Diamondbacks finally scored a run with 2 outs. 2-1 Giants. Nice hit Chad.

Why is Brenly playing Counsell? He is now 0-17 against the Giants this year. Everyone was all over Tony Womack for hitting the ball in the air and since Counsell has come back he has been popping the ball up a lot. Maybe try putting Cinton at the top of the order.

Updated standings. Diamondbacks are 9 out of the NL West and only 2 out of the wild card. Hopefully Batista will get some run support tomorrow.
