Look, the Seahawks were lucky as hell to beat the Jets. We took what is the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFC right down to the wire.

All month, I was expecting to lose in Seattle (because they would be desperate for a win) and in Minnesota (because they are just better and we aren't there yet). I have been expecting to win the next three. I see no reason to change my mind. We were a little worse against Seattle than I expected, and a little better than i expected against Minnesota.

We will see. Sunday will be fun, I will be there.
Yeah I want to tell myself this but idk. Feeling skeptical after these last couple weeks. Heck the Panthers and Patriots are starting to look decent, I have no idea if the Cards will win those games at the moment.

I think I’m still demoralized from these last two games, not super optimistic about this one. Hopefully the players aren’t in the same boat, sometimes these close losses have that effect to linger.

Regarding Robinson- I think we waited so long for him that we crafted in our heads this vision of him being some Herculean monster that was going to steam roll every offensive line player that lined across from him. Turns out he’s just a rookie who took his first snaps of his career that wasn’t a huge factor after missing 13 weeks of the season. Not so surprising if you think about it- I’m willing to be patient on Robinson.
You’ve summed up my feelings as well. I’m lowered expectations for this team until proven otherwise.

Also, go Dawgs. This GA team is flawed but beating Texas again to secure a playoff bye would be huge.

Should win the next 3.

However, all three (even Geno) are pretty athletic. Especially Drake Maye.

One game at a time though.

if we lose I'll have to pay my BIL a damned silver eagle. Come on Cardinals. You already cost me a bottle of good whiskey last year, help me get even!

So they didn’t feel like bouncing back after the Seattle loss?
I'd say they did. They played a better all around game in MN than in Seattle. They were less than 2 minutes from winning. Lead the entire game till the very end. If not for a bogus false start penalty at the 5 I'm saying they would have won. They dominated in every statistical category. They didn't do any of that in Seattle.

I’m sorry but I can’t agree. Losing a game in which you are up by 13 in the second half is not bouncing back.

To me you throw the stats out the window because they just flat out shouldn’t have lost, period.

This loss was kinda like the Buffalo loss but this one stings more. I hope they can actually bounce back at home like they did against the Rams in the home opener.

If the Cards have any pride, any dignity, any fire in their gut, they have to win this game. Call it what it is, this is a playoff game. JG and this coaching staff have to get the best out of this team on Sunday.

Wow lol. The Cardinals can have pride, dignity, and fire coming out of every orifice, but it won’t change the fact that this team is NOT a finished product. We all need to relax and let this season play out. Yes, it sucked that we blew a game against a 10-2 team, one that we should have won by 2+ touchdowns. We have improved dramatically, and we will continue to improve. But, they’re just not there yet. Do I think we’ll beat Seattle? I actually do. I don’t normally bet with my heart. And I’ve actually made a good sum of money betting against the Cardinals over the years lol. But, I will bet on them this weekend.

Like it or not, this game is going to be a referendum on Kyler Murray.

This just can't be another 214 yards, 1 TD, 37 yards rushing game.

Kyler has just 2 games all year where he has thrown more than 1 TD and one of those was way back at the Rams game.

Through 12 games he has only 13 passing TD's and 4 rushing TD's. That's pretty unimpressive.

Joe Burrow has 30 passing TD's for comparison.

I need to see that Oline push around the Seahawks.

They did bounce back. They played much better in the Minny game, and should have won. Minny is a better team than Seattle and we are at home, and the playoffs are on the line.

I expect the cards to win.

Is this a referrendum on Kyler or Petzing? Kyler has certainly had more touchdowns in previous years.

It might be on Kyler for not throwing down field when there are plays to be made, but it seems to be me it is more on Petzing because I see very few plays that appear to be designed to be big plays.

It's a referendum on Kyler.

The idea that Petzing's whole playbook has no chunk plays in it, or no plays for Kyler to get receiving TD's in the RZ is frankly ludicrous. Far more so than Kyler just not playing well in those situations.

What's more likely? That there is an NFL coordinator without any of those things to work with, or the QB just ain't seeing them?

Petzing is basically running a version of the Browns offense. An offense that had 164 yards per game of passing with DeShaun Watson, that has had 352 yards per game since Jameis started.

I'm using that to show the same offense with different QB's. When your QB can't see the opportunities they don't look like they are there to everyone else.

Yawn yawn yawn. I think we can just accept there are people on here who will deem Murray average no matter what he does. They stop the rhetoric after the good games but straight back with it in losses. So boring.

Our offense isn’t built for WRs to have any meaningful impact. It’s all centred around TEs and RBs.

Now, does Murray have a lot to work on? Yes he does. But when you are mainly dinking and dunking to your RBs and TEs and then asked to air it out suddenly, that is quite tricky to do.

Also talking about Petzing like nothing is anything to do with the system he’s put in place and the plays he calls is crazy. All the brainless penalties aren’t happening on D, underwhelming play isn’t happening on D… if he has no impact then he won’t be missed when we try someone else. The unfounded love for that guy is weird
