Haven’t read through this entire thread but the Cards might want to block Leonard Williams this week. Do that and it’s a win.

Team’s with better talent and good leaders stop the bleeding in a game like this tomorrow. We’re at least equal with talent and playing at home… question that’s bedeviled this team for 6 years has been with the guy under center.

At some point he’s got to turn that narrative around and we’ve got to realize he never will.

This is the issues with major rebuilds. Rookies are expected to be stars on day 1, but both MHJ and Darius Robinson saw quite a bit of double teams in game 1. To the point some made, having a legit #2 or someone with outside speed will only help Kyler and MHJ.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but Robinson hasn't seen the field until last week...

Can anybody in Arizona tell me what the early game is on CBS for you guys? It appears from what Paramount Plus is saying it's a doubleheader and the early game is Cleveland and Pitt and then the Cards and Seattle is the only late game. I'm trying to confirm if my setup is working so I'll be able to get the game. We've had 2 power outages today of 5 and 2 1/2 hours so I just got online and am trying to check. Game starts 5am for me

I'm not in AZ, but according to this, AZ has no early CBS game. For CBS it says "CBS Single". I don't think anybody has a CBS double header.

I don’t think this is true at all. Coming into the season, nobody thought we were equal with talent to Seattle. We were picked last in the division by a lot of people for a reason.

The biggest adjustment the Cards must make is putting Williams on JSN. DK will make a few big catches but JSN is the guy who beats teams on third down and when QB is under pressure. If Walker plays Dline must keep him under 100 yards.

On offense the Cards must seal behind pulling linemen for Connor to be effective. Murray must have his top running game of the year. They need to rollout Murray with a crossing receiver.

I also think on every pass play someone has to be streaking downfield. It opens the zones, takes a defender out of the play and a blown assignment could mean a touchdown.

Would love to see K1 break off a 2nd quarter 70-yard TD run today and to watch all the air go out of the SEA sideline as he's sprinting down the field! That would whip the home crowd into a frenzy!

I get that. My point was that we are so talent deprived at certain positions that some of our rookies are being treated like #1s from snap #1. Robinson was doubled teamed heavily in his limited snaps in his first professional game. Rookies generally don't see that when they are on more well rounded rosters.
