Why does everyone always assume that we can't resign our own players? Must we always lose every good player we develop or trade for?
This is why a salary cap needs to happen in the worst way. We can't have four teams and 26 farm system feeders.

Just a fact. Teams like the Dbacks can’t compete with teams like LA, Boston, NY, Washington, Chicago...
And when you have contracts like Grienke, and a guy like Yasmani No-Mas, and when you have to take care of Goldy and others, there is no way you can pay BOTH Corbin and Pollock $20 Million-plus.
