Nice try(and fail) at your attempt to be objective & diplomatic.hahahaha
Let me preface this by saying, Shaq is having an outstanding year! Very surprising to me but I admit he has done a tremendous job. So for all you guys who know i don't like him the following comment has nothing to do with my view as him as a person.
The season is not even half over yet for one so we have no idea about the final standings, fatigue, injuries etc. With that in mind, as it stands right now, regardless of sitting out back to backs which is a valid point, MVP's are rarely if ever chosen off a team that is one game in the loss column from being out of the playoffs. If that was the case, your boy Nash's trophy case would be empty.
hahahaha

Kobe has always been his own favorite MVP.
No one...i repeat NO ONE made the players around him better than Nash did during his MVP run and IMO thats what an MVP is.
The true definition of the MVP award is vague at best.
My interpretation is:
A dominant player that can elevate his team & teammates far beyond their capabilities otherwise.
Kobe has always been mega-dominant(LOL), but as far as elevating his teammates and making them better? I'm not so sure.
go jump out of a window
See you in the playoffs.Sure! No problem... let me see... I'll choose the window I can "eye the prize" through. I guess I'll jump through the LARGE Laker one on my left as opposed to the teeny weeny Suns one on the right.

There are so many ways how to evaluate who deserves the MVP. However, I will say the Suns would probably be a lottery team without him.
Without him and his 20 million dollars? There are so many ways how to evaluate who deserves the MVP. However, I will say the Suns would probably be a lottery team without him.
two pages in and no posts by andrew??? so let me get the straight the cards are 1 game away from the superbowl and andrew is MIA in a shaq mvp thread?? cheese was right, the end times are near.
Even I'm a long term Shaq fan, I dont like this. It is extremely bad for team chemistry to over-praise an individual.
There is only 1 purpose for Shaq to be in Phoenix: A Championship.
Honestly, I never could dream Shaq could return to such a good form. But if he could keep this up in May, I think this Suns has some real chance at the title.
I seriously doubt Shaq could win MVP at this stage of his career. However, I will say even the die hard Laker fans are now coming around to Shaq. Their bitterness of not winning jack since Shaq left still stings.
