I Know Rasheed Got A One Game Suspension After His 16th Tech Foul, On My Count Kobe Should Be On Either 16 Or 17 Now. He Should Get An Automatic Suspension. How Come The Media Has Not Picked Up On This?????

welcome to the messageboard, bootan.

It's going to take a Herculean effort by the Phoenix Suns if they are going to win Game 6 without Bell. I still can't believe he did that. He seems smarter than that.

Barbosa will need to play his heart out.

I though I remember they didn't reset for the playoffs, when the talk about Rasheed's T's. That would make the game interesting.

They should change the name of T's to "Sheeds" anyways.

You might want to check the rule book again there D DOgg. Technicals are year round.

If you remember from last, Rashweed was suspended for a game in the playoffs for accruing his 19th.

You might want to check the rule book jlove.

"The NBA wipes the slate clean for the postseason, setting up a new grid for punishing technicals.

The first two technicals in the playoffs draw a $1,000 fine each. Numbers three and four are worth $1,500 each. Numbers five and six each bring a $2,000 fine plus a warning letter from the league with No. 5. Technical No. 7 carries a one-game suspension and a $2,500 fine.

Each additional technical is a $2,500 fine, plus every odd one (Nos. 9, 11, 13, et al) brings the fine and a one-game suspension."

And no, Kobe shouldnt be and wont be suspended. Nothing during the game was whistled to warrant such.

Let's call a spade a spade...

Barring causing injury, no superstar in the NBA is going to be suspended for games. Look at the names in the playoffs suspended so far. They are role players.

Kobe can't be suspended for technicals and won't be suspended for an in game thing unless he hurts someone. Same with every star.

So how many T's does Kobe have in this series? Just 2? It'd be sweet if he was close to 7...ah well. I hope for a good CLEAN game this weekend

I like the fact that the refs have "let em play", but the Bell foul and the Bryant elbow was overboard. The suspensions should have applied to either both or none, as they were equally bad. Add to that the other "hard" fouls the Laker-girls have handed out this series, and I can see Bells frustrations. The Suns cant do anything about it now, except play to win. Maybe they should brush their shoulders off too- haha that was the dumbest reaction to a foul ever!

Side note: I love how after the Bell foul the announcers were getting excited that Kobe was "taking over" and made a few shots. "KOBE BRYANT!!!" (was that Marv Albert announcing?) Anyways the Rape-show were down by 16 with 4 min left- come on.
