Not a FA yet, but he has a bonus coming soon...skins either have to trade him, release him, or pay him...... maybe Cleveland would offer a pick for a guy who is going to be released in order to get exclusive rights....not so sure SK would though...but the guy is smart, and has shown a lot of character in his downfall

No No No! I live in the DC area and get more than my fill of Washington football news and fans. We don't want this guy. He has no pocket presence, can't throw the deep ball, is injury prone, among other things Please don't bring him to AZ.

Listening to ESPN Radio during a long drive this weekend, they raved about Adam Gase because he was the type of coach that could adjust to any type of QB and didn't need a "system" guy.

Is BA that type of guy? I think he is.

RGIII is a spread-style QB that is a "First Read and Run" QB.

I think BA can adapt to some QB's, but he is incredibly old-school when it comes to his views of RGIII's toolkit.

This is a very good breakdown of why Griffin puts up stats that might on the surface seem to be decent, but in reality he is utterly killing drive after drive and has no clue how to comprehend offensive scheme.

He is Kolb-esque in his style of taking massive sacks, giving his o-lineman no hope of helping him on plays, totally inability to see downfield and misleading stats as a result of ineffective check down passes that the defense is more than happy to yield.

Too many years of being told he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. See it more often in basketball players than football players. Perhaps this year has humbled Griffin to the point where he is willing to learn. I doubt it.

Without the scrambling, the negatives out weigh the positives.

RGIII can read a defense... the Redskins are not different than a NFC Raiders

in his 1st season he was suberb
then after the injuries and head coaching change he lost his confidence
arm strenght is not an issue,and his accuracy is very good
with arians i would give him a try

If RG3 is as smart as everyone says he is, then he has to realize that his only hope to continue in the NFL would be as a pro-set drop back QB. That's the only way he can minimize the risk of future injuries. The question is can he be? My initial thought would be to say "probably not". He has a strong arm, but his release is long & methodical. I don't think BA would be interested.

Is anyone else tired of the "he'd be a great QB if we could just teach him how to throw a football" quarterbacks? I mean honesty what other sport is so damn stubborn? I don't hear hockey coaches say "He'd be a great goalie if we could just teach him to stop a puck."
