I value players on the end of the bench as you well know. It's something I learned going to training camps and watching summer league.
I do as well. But that doesn’t make them good, nor does it mean they have trade value.

Flex is saying suns are involved in talks to possibly being a third team in a trade where they could add a rotation player. He mentioned stix, Dario, and Nader contracts could be involved.

he said for a name player. So I am assuming he means in a Dame, Simmons, or Sabonis trade.

Well if Flex says it... Why do people give him the time of day? He's been wrong about virtually everything since the CP3 trade.

This is something we've all speculated about since the free agency signing period cooled down.

Where there's already smoke you'll find Flex lighting a new fire in the same area.

Who cares what Flex says? Dude said Booker didn’t break his nose when everyone and their mother knew that thing was destroyed.

It's not hard to figure out that if there is a larger trade for a name player, the Suns would try to get a spinoff player as a third or fourth team if they can help make it work.

The Suns got Torrey Craig for cash last season.

Hmmm. Suns as trade facilitator. That usually means not picking up the star or big name player in a trade, but getting a quality player that has to move for salary purposes. It used to mean getting a pick, but I doubt that is what the Suns are looking for right now.

A pick swap option in order to facilitate a trade would be nice.

It is so hard to try to work three-way trade scenarios. I am not going to try. The one thing of which I am confident. We won't be adding Jeremi Grant, Turner, Sabonis, Wood, or Simmons.

It would be a lower-tier player. It would probably be someone more like Shake Milton, Drummond, Torrey Craig, type of player. I am not advocating for these or even saying that these players would be a fit in any way. It would just be a player on this level--a rotation player that maybe plugs a need.

I think it was a New Orleans connection before Payton was in the NBa.

I'm not sure where, but it sounded like Paul knew Payton/family before he entered NBA.

I wish I saved the link.

Chris Paul recruits Elfrid Payton

"
Payton told Arizona Sports’ Burns & Gambo on Thursday that Suns point guard Chris Paul recruited him in free agency.

“Obviously, being able to play with him, learn from him, was something at the start,” Payton said of being attracted to Phoenix because of Paul."

Elfrid and cp3 are related in some sort. Inlaws or relatives. I forget.

Looks like DAaron Fox is available now. Many think the Knicks would be a player in that deal. Again, the Suns can try to be a trade facilitator with picks and players. Not sure who we would be interested in for our services.

Maybe the Kings are ready to move on from Bagley.

I would really like to get bagley - except if he played well I don't think Sarver would be willing to go far enough into the tax to keep him.

This wouldn’t bother me. If we got him as a one year rental I think he could be a key backup big for a title run.

I’d be in on Bagley a change of scenery would do him good, but his advanced stats are so bad when he’s on the court maybe they’ve gotten better

Your trading for him knowing he’s a rental for the rest of the year

We've put a huge emphasis on targeting defenders and Bagley is reeeeally bad on D, I don't see us trying to get him.
