I'll be honest... I think there's a great chance we are a disaster this year. KK is either a grand-slam home-run swing or the ugliest strike out I've ever seen. We've already decided that's the
Gotchaswing we're taking, so, with that in mind, if KK really believes he needs Murray for his system, I'm throwing up my hands and going all in. It's either going to work like gangbusters or everyone is going to get blown the hell out of HQ.

Gotcha... I personally think if they really want Murray they need to try to trade the pick to Oakland so they can draft Bosa… get their number 4 and another first... then you likely still get Murray at number four because neither the Niners or the Jets are taking him… And then you get him for a little bit less money and gain another first... Then you still have the ammunition to trade Rosen as well for as high a pic if you can get.

knowing us, we'll do that and then someone will trade up to get him. I guess the upside there is you don't HAVE to trade Josh before that happens so maybe you end up with the 4th pick, more picks and Josh. Who knows...

Smart business taking the hottest sports story in the state, making a website that takes you to the company's main site, and getting newsworthy buzz.

It's whatever. Still not convinced that the original plan has deviated

not based on billboards, but I really feel like Rosen's gonna be traded and Murray's gonna be the pick.

I don’t necessarily think Rosen is better than Murray but he has a year of NFL experience under his belt. It’s almost a 2 year head start considering Murray’s lack of college experience. It’s hard to imagine the coaching being worse but the OL could easily be a disaster again. Murray is generational in terms of mobility but idk how running around for his life helps his development.

yeah... I'm not discussing whether the move is sound or not. just what I think has a good shot of happening.

LOL 6`1 250.I haven`t been that little (5`10 207)since freshman year of college 49 years ago.

Man, I had no idea you were pushing 70. Based on your posts through time, I thought you were much younger. Please take this as a compliment. I’m 43, so my plenty young enough for you to spank, ground, or counsel me.

Not a problem.I enjoy most of the debates back and forth between fellow Cards fans.Been rooting for this team since 1963 and still try to be positive about the team.We all do agree and disagree on how we think things should be done but that's what makes things interesting.A older point of view isn't always right and neither is a younger view. Its the meeting of the views is when it comes together that work best .I know some want the "no risk-no biscuit" plan but being a person who prefers the safer approach

This is the danger with a smokescreen in my opinion. Fans and people turning on Rosen.

I heard it yesterday on Bickley's show as he was talking about how poorly Rosen played his last 3 games. He developed a hitch in his delivery and was late on most throws. Now local businesses are openly calling for him to be replaced.
Ugh. This. Everyone wants to scream and shout about mental toughness, but when your entire city turns on you, that's a lot for an early 20-something.

Rosen has to prove himself regardless of whether the Cardinals draft Murray. If Rosen starts kicking butt for the Cards in 2019 season, all the draft season stuff will be long forgotten.

agreed. Hopefully if the Murray stuff doesn't come to pass, it puts an even bigger chip on Josh's shoulder and he works his ass off to prove to everyone he should be the guy.

I am just under 6’1” and weigh 198 lbs and even 6’3” 220 makes me look like a runt.

My Sr. Year in HS, I was 6’0” 126 lbs!!! (17 years old).

I’m actually beginning to think that the josh vs kyler rumors are being started from well outside this organization. Let Bosa (and all the other blue chip prospects) slide past #1 and then josh to be had for a 3rd. That only makes sense for 31/32 teams in the league.
