I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure the SB Champion Coach of the Year Mike Tomlin was never a coordinator, but was the secondary coach in Minny before he took the job with the Steelers.

Tomlin was defensive coordinator for one season (2006) with the Vikings. Before that he was secondary coach for 5 seasons with Tampa Bay.
