Eagles wouldn't let Jets interview DeFilippo for their OC position, I doubt they let him go to AZ. Yes, they can block him.
DeFilipo's contract ends with Eagles after super bowl. He is a free agent. There is nothing Eagles can do to block him.
This!Of all of the coaches we interviewed, Wilks was the one who I was most interested in. I think this team needed a fresh start and a kick in the A$$. Wilks seemed like the guy to do it.
Right now I'm more interested in who he brings in to be his OC and DC.

Wilks has been on two different staffs similar to the Cardinals defense with the Bears and Chargers. Seems like everyone’s playing a hybrid of 3X4 and 4x3... They need to sign or draft a Dline.

How can they block him for a promotion? I didn't know that.
They literally just blocked the Jets from interviewing for their OC opening. That is such a punk move if he isn't under their control after the postseason!
I found an article where they blocked him last year, too, knowing he only had 1 year left.
Totally agree... it's a poopy practice, organizationally, even though it's legal. They have every right to do that, but knowing that is not the norm, and that most teams let guys advance their careers, this seems very shortsighted.
Jurecky doesnt have any clue, he is always nervous on Twitter, he should take a long break
Good with this hire.

Only people that "know" the effort being made is the Cardinals, and Patrick Peterson. You and others can say you know, but that is literally impossible.
Tebow and Peyton Manning had their best seasons under his watch, and he was largely responsible for reviving Rivers's career after he was in a funk.
