No problem, we got you covered! For just $1,999.99 You can buy a season pass and download all of the stuff we didn't bother putting into the game because we could simply charge for the content later once you get bored of the initial few maps!

On a serious note, I finally have the jet pack thing and the homing missile but I want more.

The Jetpack is a staple in my card hands. I was using the homing missile but I got really good with the sniper rifle. Also, I have been playing with the barrage. Just a word of advice...once you find a card weapon you like...upgrade that sucker. It does make a difference.

In terms of trait cards...I think I have all the ones I want unlocked. My favorite trait is the bounty hunter one because small kill streaks can give you random power ups without having to search the map for them. It's awesome and it's come in handy SOOOO many times. You can't get vehicle powers ups or hero powers ups that way but I see them often enough on the map so that it doesn't matter.

I think the only trait card I have is a no recoil/better aim one.

I had no idea you could upgrade cards.

Hmmmmmmm.

I have 90% of the time played blast, flight squadron or heroes vs villains so I am not even sure what the vehicle and hero power ups are.

The vehicle power ups are the ones that allow you to get into AT-AT or AT-ST, X-Wing or Tie fighter etc. The Hero ones are the ones that allow you to become Luke, Darth, etc.

The Bounty Hunter Trait card after a kill streak will award you with a random power ups of any kind but the two mentioned above. They still want you to have to pick those up on the map. Like I said, it's no big deal you don't get those two kinds but you get access to the rest. They just drop into your inventory after a kill (assuming you already have a kill streak). This trait has saved my butt more than once.

I've never been a vehicle online, now I know how :) I've mostly avoided those modes though

That trait sounds good, I haven't noticed a second one being unlocked I'll have to look

new free stuff:

Electronic Arts has laid out its plans for upcoming content in Star Wars Battlefront, from free new maps to more info about the season pass. Head in for the full details.

The Expansion packs (covered in the season pass) add the Bespin and Death Star locations, but the specific heroes (Lobot?!), maps, and modes outlined in the pass have not been detailed.

Tomorrow:

The Tatooine Survival map (called Raider Camp) will support Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs. Villains modes
Hoth outfits for Luke and Han (previously unlocked upon completion of the Heroes' Holiday community mission)
The ability to create private matches
Daily Challenges and Community Events
General weapon and mode balancing tweaks.
February:

Survival mission on Hoth (map not disclosed)
New Hoth multiplayer map supporting Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron, and Turning Point.
Turning Point mode available on all maps that currently support Walker Assault and Supremacy.
March:

New Endor multiplayer map supporting Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point.
Tatooine Survival map.

More info on season pass content:
Here are the expansion packs in the Season Pass (text from EA):

Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim (March 2016) – Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine
Star Wars Battlefront Bespin (Summer 2016) – It's hunt or be hunted in this action-packed experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin
Star Wars Battlefront Death Star (Fall 2016) – That's no moon! One of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe makes its debut in Star Wars Battlefront.
Star Wars Battlefront Expansion Pack 4 – Title TBA (Early 2017)

even the free stuff is huge, a lot more options for online games now and more survival is great because I play that with my son. I may even buy a season pass for this game, really enjoying it and if each new level also comes with survival maps and online maps, its not a bad deal.

My Son's favorite is Walker Assault. I think it's my favorite too. The more maps they add for that mode the better IMO.

I did that one last night and had fun. I have mostly been playing blast, heroes vs villains and turning point. Last night I put on my 4shot headphones and played and man oh man was it fun. Its amazing how many sounds you dont hear playing on normal speakers.

I finally got to control some ATST and stuff on walker assault too, made it extra cool. Was on top of the leaderboard for once.

Finally played this on my buddy's PS4 last night. What a wonderful game. I was getting killed left and right, but man does this thing look amazing. Even the Mrs thought we should think about getting a new console after witnessing Battlefront.

The PS4 controller is much better than previous iterations, but I still can't stand those shapes on the buttons. Too many years on the Xbox I suppose. Nothing to complain about other than that, and I can't imagine it would be an issue after some time getting used to it.

puck's review summary:

5/5 double lightsabers!

My last primary console was a XBOX 360 and before the original XBOX (even though I owned multiple) so I am with you. I do have an XBOX ONE but it's not my primary like the PS4 and it took a little bit to get used to it.

However, I agree 100% the XBOX still has the best controller.

I was always leaning towards the Xbone for my next console, but after last night, I think I'm open to at least considering the PS. It will really come down to features and games that I'm after at this point and who has the best deal once I'm ready to drop the cash.

they added a lot of new maps to different modes for free recently, nice to play on new maps. Im still not a high enough level to have the perk setup I want which is annoying but ill get there. Solid game, tons of fun.

Tons of fun is right. So many details are done perfectly. I was honored when Boba Fett was taking me out like four times because he's just awesome to watch. My buddy got to fly the A-Wing a few times and even a snowspeeder!

Plus, I've never seen a battle with 20 vs 20 multiplayer, that is so impressive and absolute chaos at the same time. :notworthy:

Looks beautiful, but was really shallow, IMO.

If you are one of the fans of multiplayer, then I'd guess it would be a good game. My only problem with it is the lack of a single-player story mode. I got bored with it pretty quickly. As comparison, I beat Rise of the Tomb Raider in a couple weeks.

The big battles is what does it for me. Nothing beats big battles with a freaking AT-AT walking through the map, X-wings, A-wings, Tie fighters buzzing over head. It's unreal.

I always thought the huge Hoth battle was the best thing ever and now it's like that with you dropped in the middle. I still want space battles to be added to the next one but this is pretty epic IMO for multiplayer. Yes, it would be great to have a campaign but in terms of multiplayer? It's one of the best out there IMO.

To be honest, I would probably have bought this day of release if it had come with a good campaign mode. That has always been my preference.

That said, they've done online multiplayer about as good as I could imagine with this. Even though I'm terrible, I got my fair share of kills and was able to have a great time.

Not only that but the mission mode is pseudo campaign. It's definitely not the same as having a campaign but I love you can do that solo or have someone drop in locally or over the internet.

The vehicles and heros are tons of fun. I rarely get the vehicles but have slowly started finding them more and I play heroes vs villains mode a lot to be the heros even though I am not a fan of being the emperor and I suck with luke/darth

I'm for the most part a multiplayer only guy however with star wars, I would have played a campaign if there was one. Battlefront has never been a campaign game tho

Still loving it. Played all the maps. To be honest, aside from a cool new game type the maps are pretty pedestrian. It's cool to fly a Cloud-Car but that wheres off pretty fast. The DLC everyone is waiting for is the Death Star. As beautiful as this game is, I can't wait to see how that turns out.

More power to you Daren. I tried the game and didn't like it at all. Looked pretty, but since I'm not an online gamer, it really has nothing for me.

Completely understand and to be honest it's the one thing that REALLY bothers me about the game. Not having much to do offline. I am sort of looking at this as them nailing the online play aspect of the game and then hopefully spending some time adding campaigns next version. That and space battles.

they did a great job with it but it made me wish they would redo shadows of the empire, best star wars campaign ever.
