Wasn't that nice to see? I miss DJ running hard.
Yeah. DJ looked like he was running in slow motion but he was using his blocking.

It is not a regression. This is who he is. Like I said, now teams have a lot of game film to review so now they all know how to play him. Earlier in the season there naturally wasn't much game film on him. We have seen this happen with a lot of athletic rookie QBs before. They look fantastic their first season but then it looks like they start to get worse. They are not getting worse, teams just started figuring ways to defend them.
Making plays on a defense that gave up 45 points. So . . . eh. Yeah they won, but that’s the equivalent of Murray throwing a touchdown in a game we win 7-0 because they defense came to play (yeah I laughed while typing that last part).Man I hope this starts turning around, but watching Bosa make key plays today was depressing.
It is drives like this that make me bristle when people blame play calling. The plays are the plays...how they are executed is what matters.
Yeah.. thats how I saw it as well.Yeah. DJ looked like he was running in slow motion but he was using his blocking.
In that count I agree. But expecting that outta a rookie QB is a bit much imo.I have admitted that I put a lot of responsibilities on NFL QBs. They have total control of everything on offense and make the decisions post-snap.
And an ankle injury, but if his back was bugging him that much he should have been inactive to not reaggravate it.I still think he wasn't fully healthy...back issues can be tough to play through, at his position.

Or ClayThrow it to Larry!
Plenty of time to throw the ball and his scramble lane was the opposite way. That is on Murray.
