Per Somers, Cardinals are inquiring on Eagles LB Stewart Bradley, who missed 2009 with a blown ACL and most of 2010 with concussions.

This will be almost as exciting as when we signed Tony McCoy.

may not be horrible....generally takes a year and a half or so to fully recover from an ACL..........maybe they will throw him in on the Kolb deal?? LOL

Sorry, there's no real way to spin this one. He wasn't any good before the injuries.

Bradley is generating plenty of interest around the league despite losing his job to Jamar Chaney last season. That's because Bradley has starting experience and can play multiple positions. The Rams and Bills are also reportedly in the mix.

he is only in his fourth year...drafted in 2007...so, BEFORE the injuries he was a rookie....I have not seen him play, but there could be potential....Rams are looking at him too.

I'm ok with anyone to move Paris Lenon out of the starting lineup. Bradley has some potential and frankly I'm surprised that the Cards are even looking at MLB, so I'm encouraged. Their man crush on Paris Lenon was odd.

Well, since we had basically the worst defense in the league the last two seasons, I agree that this is the kind of guy we should be targeting. Boy won't we be better once Stewart Bradley is in the fold.

Nobody! We'll take the guy who "plays multiple positions" (poorly) and "could be a contributor" "if healthy" (and if my aunt had a ******* she'd by my uncle).

Except that the two teams who are looking at him are pretty much set at D and are probably looking at him for depth not as a starter. This would be a typical Whisenhunt signing an often injured player who can do different things, but not necessarily well and has a big heart. I'd be shocked if the Cards don't sign him.

I liked Bradley coming out of Nebraska. He's good, he just can't stay healthy.

He could be a camp fodder/depth kinda guy....but he is young, had injuries early, and he will come very cheap due to those injuries and lack of production.....a small gamble but the guys best football should still be ahead of him. Unless he never fully recovers from the ACL and concussion........

Folks around here are always crying when every FA signing is not a Ferrari,...or at least a Mercedes,.....when the truth is, any solid team is filled out with mostly Ford trucks

Bradley had 100+ tackles and SI named him in their All-Pro issue in 2008 before the injury. This guys reminds me of a little bit younger version of Paris Lenon, who did manage 125 tackles for us last year despite most people not liking the signing. I think Washington/Bradley/Lenon/Sturdivant would be a pretty good crop of ILBs.

No there's a difference. Not ever signing needs to be a Ferrari, but not every signing needs to be a beat up Mercury pulled out of the scrap yard either. Have you ever stopped and looked at all the Wiz signings of players with injury histories. It's freaking incredible. One or two are fine, but a handful who are expected to play major roles? This is the same team that let Breaston walk and very well could replace him with Early Doucett who been injured more often than not.

Ford Trucks would be nice. This is a 1977 Chevy El Camino with a blown carburetor and a nasty funk in the interior because someone died in it.

LOL, :Championship: Comparing someone to Paris Lenon ain't a compliment. Tackle #'s don't mean crap, Lenon was a below average starter.

In the last two days I have seen we should bring in Jake Delhomme and now a young Paris Lenon :thud:.

Talk about seeting the bar high :(.

I'd also like to welcome you, that is you, isn't it Rod, to the board.
