Sucks to Be A Chargers Fan right Now

I'm no fan of the Chargers, but they have been completely jobbed out of this game today by instant replay. What a joke.

Hochuli is usually really good and I like him, but today his crew's officiating was terrible.

Cutler fumbled, but the officials blew the whistle saying incomplete right before SD picked up the ball. The Broncos scored right after that, went for 2 and will win.

The official says it was a fumble, but that since the whistle blew, it was DEN ball where the ball was when the whistle blew.

what happenned?

In the 1st qtr a fumble was ruled against San Diego, but because the replay equipment wasn't working they couldn't overturn it...and it was OBVIOUS on tv replay.

Then in the 4th qtr Cutler clearly fumbled but an inadvertent whistle kept the Chargers from taking the ball.

That was pretty f'ed up what the refs did to SD.

Two terrible calls against the Chargers. That fumble by Cutler at the end of the game was outright Robbery. Cutler fumbled and San Diego recovered by Hoculi blew the whistle and ruled the play dead so the broncos get the ball back. and score the winning td

If there was ever a case for filing a case against the NFL, this would be the game. Terrible, terrible calls against the Chargers.

I'll say this though, despite the major guffaw that SHOULD have cost Denver the game, Jay Cutler is 10x the quarter back Matt Leinart is right now. Let's hope ML vastly improves while sitting on the bench. (Thank God we have Kurt playing as well as he is).

I seem to remember that, one of the many times we got screwed, we were victims of the whistle rule. I'm too happy to figure out what game it was though. Just glad we are not in that sort of agony for a change.

Seeing Rivers giving Cutler hell last year after a Chargers win, I think it's funny.
