Yes, it is being carried live on FSC. I'll be watching, to the bitter end. :D

Even if the lads lose it will be great seeing them play. I'm anxious to see how the new signings will do. I haven't seen the Black Cats live since they lost at Portsmouth a couple of seasons ago.

that was when i was in Arizona to watch us play Titans and then Seahawks - went to an internet cafe at 8am only to see the goals keep going in the wrong end. has to be done though even if it is a million to one that we get a result.

keep the faith :koolaid:

Man. Utd. 0-0 Sunderland at halftime.

Sunderland's back four look well organized, but not too dangerous in attack. I think Nosworthy and Higginbotham have played well.

Kenwyne Jones looks like he might not be totally match fit, but if Keano wanted a big, strong striker he sure got one. Jones looks huge out there! Guys like Scholes and Tevez look like little kids next to him.

COME ON!

Terrible defending, again, on that corner. Sunderland haven't troubled Van der Saar at all today. You have to think that Saha's goal has won it. :(

Much better display, but still lacking. That is now 4 straight games without a goal. :thumbdown

I think Sunderland will keep improving though. It is a long season.

what an awful way to lose a game.

playing 5 across midfield was our best chance but wasnt much fun to watch. Two weeks off now for England matches until we beat Reading and get the show back on the road

Sunderland 2-0 Reading

:thewave:

Huge win! We really needed three points today. It was also a good sign to see Kenwyne Jones on the scoresheet. I think he and Chopra can form a good partnership.

That gives us 2 wins in the league on Sept. 15th. Two seasons ago the Black Cats didn't get their second league win until January 21st.

Ha'way the lads!!!

Derby 1-0 over Newcastle.

Boo! Seriously, like half of our squad is injured. Still, no way this should have happened. Ah, another year of mediocrity in the table :(

And you guys, as painful as it might be, should be upset over this Magpie loss. You'll rue the fact that Derby took these points.

half your squad - we have lost our whole midfield....and three best players.

i was shocked when Big Sam said that that he didnt expect to beat Derby.....not what i expected at all.

We must no lose on Sat just for the fact that the partner in the office behind me is a boro fan and next will be shocking for me if we lose.

Derby will finish bottom of the table and Sunderland will be well clear of the relegation zone. Keano will not let us be relegated.

Here's to our first away win of the year on Saturday. It will be on FSC, although it is a tape delay.

I was thinking that same thing. It was nice to see Derby so far behind.

I initially thought Sunderland would have no chance at surviving this year, but there are just way too many bad teams this year to consider anyone but Derby a certainty for relegation.
