Have to tip my hat to the cats...it sounds like it was a hell of a match and you guys worked hard to get the victory. From what I've read, it was almost impossible to see a difference in the efforts, but Sundy had just a little bit more. Eh, it's disappointing but not unexpected, and we're playing good football. We'll get out of the relegation zone and stay up and, really, that's all we can hope to accomplish this season anyway. Well, aside from selling the team and having the new owners appoint either King Kev or Shearer.

Okay, out of the rel zone, so things are looking up. We're actually playing pretty well under Kinnear, all things considered. Oh, and only 3 points back of the black kittens too!

Guess who now sit above the little kitties in the Premiership standings? That's right, we're above you by 3 in goal differential. Heyoooo!

Bah, nobody knows anything on Election Day until late that night. I'm not going to go too, too crazy over the Magpies...still a long road ahead. And yet...it feels good right now ;)

My hunting plans for the morning got rained out, and I happened to luck upon the very entertaining match of Sunderland v Portsmouth. Man, if Cisse had decided to assert any kind of momentary patience, Sunderland could have romped in this game. Instead, his lack of adjustment led to offsides upon offsides, and he even had a goal rightly called back. Portsmouth tied it up in the second, but they really didn't seem to be making a push. Any time they got a good forward ball, they had no support with them. It was really a bad way to end the match, but Diouf can have no complaints; stupid, stupid foul and a deserved penalty.

I have to say that, though I like the result (helps my team over yours), it was really disappointing to see the kitties lose it like this.

Keano tinkers with his lineups too much, IMO.

Yesterday the team was playing very well in the fist half, and then in the second half, Keane has Reid and Richardson switch positions. Why? Richardson was having a great game in the first half and in the second he was totally ineffective.

Keane needs to figure out his best lineup and stick with it.

Remember all those Cards teams getting killed by injury. Happily (for YOU guys) my team did yesterday. We gave up two goals--both the direct result of one of our central defenders, filling in for the talented Steven Taylor. Cacapa just totally choked on it yesterday, giving up the loss almost on his own. Ah well. I think we're still above youse :)

So when I dump Sundy, I won't go with the mags.

Will Chelski be my new EPL team?

Front runner. Just root for Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal and you should be covered.
Yep, front running bandwagoner. Being a cardfan gives me the right. If Sundy improves I won't dump them. If they stay crappy, Liverpool might be cool.

I'd stay with Sunderland until the end of the season, no matter what. If Newcastle is sold to someone worthwhile, I think we could be really tough next season. Then you can hop aboard :)

I take offense to that. I picked Arsenal as my team only because I had a shirt from them years ago (before I knew anything about the EPL).
