I think that he just loved it at Villa when he was there. He's shown no discontent in Newcastle, has played well, and kept his mouth shut. I think he just likes it there better.

maybe the case but there its not certain that he would end up at Villa if by the sounds of it the skunks are open to offers. so it sounds more like he's njust not happy at SJP. Then again it sounds like (form the PFA) that he had not wanted it public and you have made the media aware of it so that you get the best price.

Actually, it turns out it's all about money. He's playing on his 2006 contract and Newcastle won't give him more. I don't blame the lad--I blame Ashley. If this moron had opened his purse strings even just a little bit more, we could be in Europe. The signings we have had are damn good, so it shows the football minds trying to bring in talent are spot-on. I just hate when an owner sabotages the team like this. Don't #$*)#) buy it if you aren't going to spend!!!

I suppose he would say that he has paid off X amount of debt and that in doing s o he is still spending money to put the club in a better posistion. horse ***** as far as i'm concerned - if you do this you still have to spend on the team or buy the time you right the ship you will be in the wrong division.

the way i see it (sounds like the same as you) is that he is a s tight as a knats chuff and wont spend money on players whilst he thinks about seling the club.

its not like he dosent have it to spend though so there is always hope for you that he will go even a little bit Chelsea and get his wallet out.

Its actullat quite funny listening to your lot moan day in day about here, just making things worse for you with us starting lose the stigma of the Bob Murray era.

As to your first: I agree wholeheartedly.

As to your last: Hey hey hey...we're still higher in the table! :D

looks like you the filth will get 10 million to spend before monday that they didnt think they would have - might work out well for them.

looking at the Man citeh game it looks like we will have 4 or 5 missing :(

and they have job and swp starting it seems, might be a tough one.

Yeah, but look at it this way...if we spend the 10 million, we'll be replacing one known quality player with an unknown quality player...probably a lateral move. If we don't spend it, we're just out a good player.

Wow. Sunderland have come crashing back to earth today. Terrible defense. We need a new left back to replace Collins and Ferdinand in the center in place of Nos. Embarrassed.

Looks like George McCartney will be returning from West Ham to play left back. Makes me feel better.

I agree Ben, Sunday's loss was bad, but it's only one match. Lots of matches left to play and with all the new faces in the squad they are going to need some time to jell. I'm still excited about the season and what this team can do

I like Ringo and its great to have him back in Red and White. It was also the one real need we had

hahaha Keegan gone at last.

Walks away again! :D

DRIVEN away. It's like if we hired Whis, and then told him he would only be the head coach, and have no autonomy over the offense, defense, or special teams. And oh, he can't have any say in which players he wants either, and we tried to trade all of our best players. Whis would walk away, and King Kev was right to do so. He told them to get rid of the people doing the job in his place; they wouldn't do it. Buh-bye. Sadly, it's wrecked the team. The fans have completely mutinied. Ah, balls.
