Me and my dad (he is the shorter one). Just over and hour to kick off and the general feeling is we could either be bottom or about 8th!!

Nice pics

Seems like they started slow in the second half.

Frustrating to keep possession and have so many shots and not get any converted.

What is up with American Red Ale? In America the red ale is Irish. lol
Even here I drink Scottish Ale. I guess if it is foreign it has more allure?

Maybe that little flourish against the Dons will provide a boost. They will need some midfield help. Any hope there?

They need a win at CP this week. Tough matches going back home.

It's a nightmare run until Christmas at home.

We were poor last night but good to see us stick it out and great to see Jozy off the mark too. He is a strong lad like.

C'mon guys, I don't want the kitties going down. Seriously, I'd miss the derby matches.

We spent zero on permanent new players, yet we have 7 points. It's a weird world, the EPL.

How do they penalize the team that was fouled?

They take away the equalizer and grant a free kick. :\

My bet would be that the ref blew the whistle well before the goal was scored. Of course, that's probably the most obvious situation to play the advantage in.

Paolo Di Canio is an insane fascist. I'm not trying to be inflammatory; these are simply words that describe Paolo Di Canio. He's an insane fascist in the same way that he's 45 and Italian and cadaverously thin. He's an insane fascist in the same way that he's lined and balding and the wearer of elongated sideburns that make him look like a Victorian railroad magnate. He's an insane fascist in the same way that he's an ex-soccer star and, as of this week, the recently fired ex-manager of the Premier League club Sunderland AFC.
Insanity and fascism are two of Di Canio's personal traits; this is not hard to substantiate. Fascism: "I am a fascist," he declared in 2005, shortly after delivering a fascist salute to the fans of his then-club, S.S. Lazio, which is known for its fascist fan base.1

Another reason I bailed on Sunderland as my club. See this guy's back tattoo.

I understand the people that say you don't fire your manager after 5 games but I don't think those people watched the games.

That was some pretty pathetic football to start the season.

No place to go but up now.

Yeah, this one gutted me to watch. Sundy rode the wave in the first half. We got the equalizer in the second, looked all set for the winner, but Borini pulled it out on, I believe, their only shot of the second half. Ugh! I know who has a better team, but Pardew has no clue how to get his team ready for matches. They're so Jekyll and Hyde. And, at the end of the day, the kittens took the points.

I think I'm ready for Pardew to get the sack.

One shot eh... You sound like Pardew.

Just about got my voice back. Amazing atmosphere and a great football day.
