Congrats, kittens! I well recall when Newcastle went down I got mocked mercilessly, and I claimed I wouldn't want Sunderpuke to go down. I didn't, and now I'm glad they didn't. Oh, it would have had a certain satisfaction, sure, but I wouldn't have wanted to rub it in on a fellow Cards fan--and I want Sunderpuke to be in the Premiership for the rivalry too.

Here's to breaking Newcastle's embarrassing run of form against the kittens!

Good lad, I think you are a Mackem at heart.

I slept like a log last night....first time in months. I take this stuff too seriously i reckon.

Anyway, cant wait for Sunday so i can relax and watch the match. Draft tonight, World Cup in a months time. I love sport me :D

Ha'way the LADS!

Hi! Stumbled upon this forum, and decided to take a look.

I'm a long suffering Sunderland fan, followed them through thin and thinner. Looking forward to the start of the new season, new hope, new (wild) expectations!

;)

A big win for you lot. But wow, your guy should have been sent off in the 1st minute for a clear, obvious penalty kick. Gutless ref who didn't want to make the right call.

What we thinking for the big game sunday?

Could be one of the days what with us playing the skunks and the Seattle later in the day. A day of ecstasy or abject misery. Please let this end well...

Well, here's to hoping the Cards and Magpies win :) On vacation, though, and won't be able to watch either. I hope I'm disappointed I didn't get to.

Have had the hangover from hell today, what a result and that's 4 wins in a row against the great unwashed now. Brilliant stuff.

Cards game kicked off at 1.30 am here so had stopped up to watch that too. Was in work for 8.30 so today was just a complete right off. Gutted about the Cards but chuffed to bits re another deserved derby victory.

Anyone for a game of.....

And on we March in the cup. Was bloody freezing today and whilst we walked the first half Leeds made a decent fist of it second half without any real quality it has to be said.

Leeds brought about 5000 and made a decent atmosphere if not a little small time with their songs. Pretending to score is a new one on me! Must have been cheap kids tickets.

Shame to say that I also had the misfortune of seeing Leeds put all the windows out of a pub near the ground and starting laying into an old fella with a walking stick. Classy.

Yeah. It's pretty sad. I watched MOTD and it seems like you guys just can't get it together.
