So is Jozy actually any good if we were to get him?

He is very effective if he gets reliable service. He has matured a great deal in the last 2 seasons, he isn't a speedster or a magician with the ball at his feet like Messi...he is a solidly built powerful striker though that is not going to get muscled off the ball.
I hope he does well, may have to get an Altidore Sunderland jersey soon.

Done deal.
Welcome the magic carpet Jozy. Could be a great signing.
I think it is as good as a signing that Jozy could ask for. EPL team, gaping hole up front etc. I see a good pairing up front with him and Fletcher. It will be interesting to see who in the midfield can consistently get the ball to Jozy.
Hopefully Sunderland is good enough to not be in the relegation hunt throughout the year.

Sunderland is getting an in form and confident striker. Jozy is playing great right now, no reason to think he can't carry that forward with him in to the season!
Wow, 3 second half goals on the road against Bosnia...very cool confident finishes too.
Wager!Agreed. I can easily see him getting 15+ goals in the premier league with Sunderland.

I would love to see it.
He is bang on form and I can't wait for Saturday.
Hey, Ben, you watch Masterchef UK? lOVE it!!!
Oh, we finished the 2012 season, I believe. I walk around imitating the announcer, "Ashe has made a bone marrow risotto with a corgette cream." (Yes, Ashe is from 2011). The skill challenges are super stressful.Yep. Which one are you on? Top telly and one of the few things that gets series linked in our house.
I eat puddings like Gregg Wallace to... 'that's laaaaavly'
