Could you imagine if we use two of those picks to get Cam Johnson back instead of Jimmy Butler? Cam is on the trading block and allegedly available for 2 1sts.
No, I could not imagine that. Those are dog crap firsts. Teams with real assets - you know the ones we have given 100% of ours away for this fantastic team - are going to trade for him.

Allegedly Nets are looking more for quantity of picks over quality of picks. That would seem to match what they have been doing the past couple seasons. Likely to parlay a chunk of picks for something else. Not that I think it happens. Just that would be a true shocker!!!!!

I'll reserve judgement if/when a deal is finalized and we see the details, but this screams of 'shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic' to me. There's no version of this Suns team that I see as a championship contender and all they are doing is prolonging the inevitable.
It is 100% done now.

We don't trade our 2031 first if it isn't.

Prepare for Jimmy greedy A-hole AARP Buckets

They are not just prolonging the inevitable, they are prolonging every fans misery.

There is no chance that the Suns didn't have a preliminary deal worked out for Nurk, Beal or Butler. No chance.

Gambo is saying now the Suns have a ton more options and it opens up their ability to move any of their next 6 years worth of draft picks because of rules. So, this was about unlocking multiple options and not just having those 3 picks they just received.

An old injury prone team that takes far too many mid range twos...

The solution... a guy who is old and injury prone and takes far too many mid range twos.

To be charitable, the idea of Jimmy is actually enticing. He'll give the team a bit of F U factor that's been missing since Chris Paul was jettisoned, and he is a much better fit skill wise than Beal is (or at least less redundant). But extending him for max money and relying on this team to stay healthy long enough to put a run together is still a pipe dream at best.

Yep. Not that they can trade them all but now they have multiple combinations open for the assets available over the next 6 drafts.

And relies on his athleticism that will disappear any day now. LET's give him the MAX!!!

We just swapped a top 4 pick in 2031 for the last pick in the 2025 1st round and a couple picks in the late 20s.

Awesome.

This feels very "Zekesque".
My first thought too. Everything we do or are even rumored to do reeks of that guy. Why can't he buddy up with some other owner?

I don't know about you guys but if they use some of these to dump Beal and get under the 2nd Arpon I won't feel completely bad about it. However, if they use all these picks, we move Beal and we get Butler?

Man...this feels like a 3rd mortgage on a house. YIKES!!!!!

My only hope is they can hold on to SOME of the assets.

So if we acquire Butler; is it out of the realm of possibility that this is a final swing for the fences and if things continue to trend down next year, that Ishbia just jettisons all the stars to recoup and start over?

Gambo said as of RIGHT NOW, there is NOT another move imminent. The pick trade was about flexibility. He followed that up with "Right Now".

EVERYTHING is going to be gone. All the picks - all the future picks.

This is hysterical panic caused by cosmic scale desperation.

This Suns team is now guaranteed to SUCK till at least 2033. If you are old and had dreams of a Suns championship - it ain't going to happen.

Gambo said it makes no sense to send these 3 picks to Miami for Butler considering that the Suns thought the 2031 was too much to ask for to get Butler. If you were going to send all 3 to Miami, you might as well have just sent the 2031.

It appears these 3 picks might be for multiple moves.

No. He has proven he is not rational. You can not use reason to guess his next move.

He probably deserves to be put in a padded room.
