I am seeing some fire in the Suns again. The same fire I saw in the playoffs when Amare was out bec. of microfracture surgery. And the same fire in Game 4 of last playoffs.

An offense that doesn't rely solely on Nash is dangerous because it keeps him fresh throughout the game and raises the confidence of the other players.

So, true. Nash was out like 8-9 min. But we didn't miss him partly because LB wasn't driving blindly so much, though one such thing resulted in a turnover. Our bigs faciliated the offense very well and that's something nobody can stop any time.

I heard that and was pretty livid. I've never heard the Suns announcers rag on another team's fans.

Normally not good if they rag on other team's fans...just funny because the ragging was about jumping ship too early on the team. That's all.

Better defense. Playing with more energy and focus then recent games.

Basically playing like they are pissed about losing a couple badly.

Finally the Suns are playing with energy and desire.. Best basketball since the trade so far. But, there' still another half.

The Suns look really good tonight. Some may say it's because we're playing Portland, but they are no pushover. They've beat some top teams this year. The Suns are getting to the boards, they're playing really good defense, stepping in to contest every shot, and they're getting out on the break. Love it. If they can keep it up and start playing this way every night, I'll be a very happy man.

Portland gets probably a third of its points from guards driving to the basket. And that is failing against the Suns running two shot blockers on the floor at the same time. Everything they throw up is getting blocked or changed.

Terrific. He's been hustling and playing great defense. He's also running the floor in transition 100% of the time, regardless of whether he's rewarded with a pass or not.
