Suns cant afford to let Chandler dominate the glass by grabbing 20 rebounds. maybe Len's height can help limit that.

If coach would recognize that you can't teach height. That's what I was upset about when he wouln't put Len against Mosgov. Plumlee has hops but we can't rely on that all the time especially against Chandler.

Okafor -> smarter Bynum
Mudiay -> John Wall
Towns -> big skilled center type
Turner -> big/long FC hybrid type

That is almost certainly going to be the top 4.

I am sure Jeff Hornacek has never thought of that. Geez. He is a coach's son. He made a college and NBA career on sheer intelligence with marginal athleticism. He was an assistant coach for years under one of the best basketball minds ever in Sloan. But he is a moron who doesn't know that you can't teach height.

In fact I would say that Plumlee and Len have combined for many more minutes, so far this season, than I would have expected. Hornacek's commitment to height seems plenty strong. He can't help it that there's only one NBA-ready SG on the roster.

I can't believe Dallas was able to acquire Chandler for peanuts. We sure could have used a defensive and rebounding monster like him.

I thought you were talking about Parsons at first and that this was a joke post.

Lol no but Parsons has been goood for them also even though he's far from a defensive and rebounding beast...

He has? I must have watched the wrong games. He's been very mediocre in the 8 Dallas games I've seen this season. Nowhere near the kind of return on his salary that we are getting from Bledsoe and you know how most people here feel about Bledsoe's current value.

Parsons is 10% down on his offensive stats from last year, mainly because of shooting pctg but he's probably not found his niche yet in a new offense so I imagine we'll see him improve there. Even so he not worth his salary unless he's a terrific defender. Dallas as team is leading the league in offensive stats - 20% above average which is stratopheric for a team these days. Their defense is 5% above average, too - if they keep it up they should be serious contenders for the title. Tyson Chandler is one of the big reasons they're riding so high. Secondary players Brandon Wright, Barea and Devin Harris are helping a great deal and, of course, Dirk is having a very good year.

Ellis and Brandon Wright have played very well along with Dirk and Tyson. They don't have the typical 3 stars lineup but that's a very loaded roster. Parsons has been decent but no more than that IMO. He's getting great looks in that offense so I suspect his shot well eventually return but I think he's overpaid even when he's at his best.

woa, way out of context here but whatever. all i was saying that imo Len could be more effective than plumlee in some situations.

Isaiah Thomas will miss his 5th consecutive game with a right ankle bruise tonight against Dallas.

Eddie Johnson said on pregame something to the effect that when Archie Goodwin develops his outside shot he is going to be one of the greatest Suns ever. High praise indeed. There is reportedly a video on the Suns site of a dunk contest between Gerald Green and Archie Goodwin. Some tantalizing stuff.

Pretty important game tonight. That's the Western Conference.

If the Suns want to make the playoffs the formula is simple. Let history be your guide. Make Dragic the primary PG. There are no other options that will get you there.

lol at Eddie Johnson. There isn't some magic pill you take to become a shooter.

I think Eddie Johnson is looking for Archie Goodwin to develop. He would now be a junior in college. Anyway, I think Eddie has a pulse on how the Suns feel about Archie.

Some of those were just stupid passes though. You don't bounce pass to a big man on the move or in a crowded lane.

Steve

Yup. Just reporting the facts. However, when given some good passes he has produced.
