I know overall Barnes has played far better than what he is getting paid and has had a good year, but I look forward to when he is gone next year and Dudley gets in. I don't have any confidence in Barnes decision making or shooting. When the ball is in his hands I am nervous and when he shoots I always think it's not going in.

Like I said, he has played much better than he is getting paid, but I just feel like he tries to do to much and doesn't except his role very well.

The fact that Barnes shot the ball 16 times in 33 minutes pisses me off.

Hill should have been ready for that in that situation.

That's about like saying Nash should have come over to Barnes...
Maybe Hill should have been able to hang on to the ball but passing the ball back to hill who was covered on the edge of the court does not make any sense. I give Barnes the credit for that turnover.

Is Nash that scared off contact? Why can't he play like Parker when nothing is going and get a foul and get to the line? He is over 90% on the line.

Agreed. Ok so maybe Grant could have caught the ball, but when there is a full court press and you have to get the ball past half court, you DO NOT pass the ball backwards to a guy who is standing on the baseline for two reasons.

1) You are obviously passing the ball away from where you are trying to go.

2) When a full court press is on you keep the ball away from the baseline and sidelines because players can easily trap you there.

I was surprised he let me ask him a question, he answered my question for lie 5 minutes before that lol.

Then why did you ask it if you already heard him answer it 5 minutes before Andrew?

No, I vented about the game and he commented on it for like 5 minutes and was about to hang up before I said "Can I ask you a quick question" which turned into like a 3 minute answer from him lol.

we lost the game, again because we didn't trust our subs more. in addition, for some weird reason, everybody's shot was off and we missed layups after layups. jrich, nash, they just miss way too much. our only hope now is that these Jazz team is not good at all letting our bench guys get us back into the game from a 20 pt hole. so, both Mavs and Jazz may lose enough games still for us to have a chance get to playoffs.

And made only five of them, you left out.

Barnes will never be a key player on a good team.

Barnes can't be a reliable starter on a playoff team, and he is not good as a bench player. He might be cheap for his production when given the min. but the team can't make much use of it. He belongs to a perennial lottery team like the Clipps just playing for fun and would welcome a cheap performer like him :(
