I'm not gonna defend this crappy team right now,but i will defend our best player this season(Shaq).
As for the "old" way of doing things.....waaaay too much to go into here dude, we went to the finals how many times?
Doesnt matter. I'm talking about tonight. Shaq hurt us more than helped us.

This team sucks and its because of the way Shaq is used. Shaq gets his but everyone else hurts.

Shaq ran out of gas in the 2nd half and nobody was there to step up.

At least he defended the board.

Why the hell the whole team lost 3p shooting touch? We were the best for quite some time. J.Rich, Barnes, all lost their 3p.

How nice of Nash to actually finally hit a shot. Suns down 106-112 with 13.2 seconds left in the 4th. Suns ball. Suns 20 second timeout.

Sigh. What the hell is wrong with this team? Losing to a horrible team in the Timberwolves at home, squeaking out a win against the Raptors, getting blown out the Celtics, and now losing to the Knicks. Ugh.

The Celtics game may very well be the game that started the downward spiral of this team. To me it looked like this team was in 3rd gear with the exception of a few spirts. Honestly, it looks like this team is mentally spent.

I still believe Nash needs to work himself in as a shooter first in every game for us to have a chance. How many assists he might have, it's not gonna help us win in games against good teams. If he can be the deadly shooter throughout all game, it'd help us more. We have all others on the team that could make simple pass for catch and shoot like Hornecek did with Jazz. Otherwise, we just don't have enough reliable shooters.

I thought the downward spiral started with the Pacers.

In a van...down by the river.
We are in the playoffs, Mavs will lose tonight.
I hate to say it but i forsee a bit of a tailspin coming for this team.
I'm not sure how they're going to snap out of this either.
Porter is clearly unable to get his guys to play defense, some of the guys are unable to play defense, and one guy appears unwilling to play defense.
IMO

Suns defensive rebounds tonight:

1. O'Neal: 11 in 38 min
2. JRich: 7 in 36 min
3. Nash: 6 in 39 min
4. Hill: 4 in 32 min
5. Barnes: 4 in 21 min
6. Amare: 2 in 39 min

For the Knicks, David Lee: 13 in 35 min

16 more turnovers, right on the season average.

Every Suns starter had a +. Every Suns bench player had a -. For the Knicks, almost opposite. Go figure.

Heavy minutes again for Nash (39) and Shaq (38). Nash with 19 assists.

Pretty humiliating loss. I wonder what Kerr will say.

I hope the Mavs somehow comeback and return to the playoffs.

I don't want this team to go to playoffs and embarrass themselves.
