The point is, it's a very reasonable contract for the job we want him to fulfill, he just isn't doing the job. We'd gladly hand that money out to his replacement as long as he could give us 20 to 25 minutes of effective basketball each game.

The guard obsession was two years ago. Time to catch up.

Our top two scorers are Guards. And, until he was recently benched, Knight was another Guard whose skill (except that didn't pan out) was scoring.

It wasn't just two years ago that the Suns were fielding an unbalanced roster.

Ironically, now young players who were not in the rotation have been inserted and are beginning to give us balance. And, instead of tanking by playing 10-11-12, we might just be playing our best basketball of the season.
